The cookware is fine and sturdy. My complaint is the color. I purchased the purple because what a lovely color that is pictured. Well, it isn’t the color you receive. The picture is a lovely, bright, pastel ombré purple. What you get is a dull, grape to grey ombré. It’s rather ugly.

I was looking for a ceramic casserole dish and decided to go with this one. I've not been disappointed. It is a bit smaller than a 9x12 but it still works just as well. It comes with care instructions with how to clean and season. I have another ceramic casserole so I seasoned them both using the instructions. Seems odd not to wash a dish after use but rinsing clean was easy. I like how the lid can be used as a griddle. The only con for me is I wish it was a little deeper.

I would highly recommend this cast iron cooker/Dutch oven to anyone. I do recommend that you season it before using for the first though. It does say (on the lable and instructions) it is pre-seasoned, but they highly recommend seasoning again. This is a very good cast iron cooking pan and I can very highly recommend it (well, my wife does...lol...).

Very impressed with the quality of this Dutch Oven. I was shocked of how heavy and sturdy it is.
