Review: So Much Fun! - I gave these to my Grandson last night and he had so much fun with them! He is almost 5, so it was a little tricky to get him to understand press to talk and let go to listen, but he's learning. The clarity is great, not too loud, and they are very durable. I like that they have a clip for portability. We used them in the house so far, so the range was great. We'll try them outside later. There is a way to lock the buttons, so he can't accidentally change the channel, so they are very suitable for kids.

I tested the range from our house to a nearby convenience store, and it sounded great the whole way. The walkie talkies are easy to set up and use. It fits in the basket on my daughters scooter. We do occasionally hear random neighbors on similar radios, but I haven't played with changing the frequency to avoid that. The batteries last a long time. I do wish it had an auto shut off because it will just stay on until the battery runs low and it begins to beep.
