Easy to apply with brush, roller, or spray, it leaves an odorless, durable finish that extends the life of your roofing and structural materials. ## Description Bond It’s Bituminous black paint is designed for waterproofing and for the weather protection of steelwork as well as concrete. The product can be used for the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete roofs, roofing felt, fibre cement, corrugated iron, asphalt and wood against water ingress and extreme weather conditions. In order to apply this product to a surface, it needs to be clean, dry and free from debris such as mould or lose material. Surfaces also need to be free of water and rust before applying the paint. After preparing, apply at least two coats by using a brush, roller, or spray, allowing time for each coat to dry. After application of a coat, it will take approximately 6 hours to dry depending on the drying conditions. Do not use the bituminious paint in areas where there will be subsequent solvent contact, and do not use for potable drinking water tanks. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and any loose material. Remove any organic growth using Bond It MOULD STOP. Rust should be wire brushed te remove as much as possible, any residue must be primed with a rust inhibitor primer. Surfaces to be treated must be completely free of water before applying BITUMEN PAINT.
