Be very careful it is strong. No matter how hard I tried, even using gloves and washing my hands, I managed to get it on my face .

I have had pretty bad shoulder and neck pain at night. I tried it on my shoulders for a few days and there was a mild burning sensation (which I expected due to the nature of the product). The burning sensation was totally worth it, since it seems to have helped my shoulder pain a LOT and I’ve slept better since using it.

Product very effective. Kept my feet warm and pain free for hours. Caution: Follow directions. Use very sparingly. I would suggest using gloves to apply as my hands burned for a long time after applying to my feet and I had to use an ice pack to cool them off. On the upside I had no pain in my hands just the burning.

First of all, I'm glad this product works for some people. Second, I'm not allergic to this, but I'm having the same experience as many others have had. If you put this on your feet, you can't do ANYTHING with your day. You can't wear anything that puts pressure on your foot, or it will feel like your foot is burning. I bought it because I was having foot pain from a long day on my feet. Put it on, was okay for an hour, and then my socks and shoes just caused this cream to turn my foot into an inferno. I found that any pressure on the affected area caused the burning to start...even if I just crossed one foot over the other while sitting!Note: They DO say not to bandage your feet or do strenuous exercise if you are going to put this on your feet. I didn't think what I was doing constituted as EITHER of those things, but I guess any pressure will set off the burning sensation...ALL DAY LONG! (They said the burning should stop and be replaced with your body's own natural pain reduction reaction!) Like I said, if you put this on your feet (and honestly it's pointless so I don't know why you would), then make sure it's on a day where you don't have to put on socks or shoes, or do anything.Now that I'm sitting with no socks or shoes, and no pressure on my feet, do they feel better? No, they're the same as they always are after work. No pain reduction whatsoever. In fact, as I'm writing this review, they still sting from the cream on top of everything else.

I have used Zostrix the last 4 years for diabetic nerve pain. I use it at bedtime when my toes get " crazy" with the pain and spasms. This cream is FANTASTIC. It works GREAT! Apply it with gloves, about $4.00 per 50-100 aye drugstore , same as Dr.s use. HELLO this is the ingredient in HOT PEPPERS. Any fool will realize that if you slice JALAPINO peppers barehanded and rub your EYES it's going to sting. DUH.I wash my hands and NO Problem.PLEASE do not listen to this Nonsense from negative Clowns. This PRODUCT works. Ordered for someone else, they did not complain

I admit, first off, that I haven't used it straight for the 3-4 weeks it recommends to see significant results. This is mainly because, while the initial application doesn't burn, I find that hours later as I have my shoes on, my feet are on fire. I have to take my shoes off under my desk and I am having a hard time working out because I can't handle the intense burning in my shoes. It says to not "bind or cover" the application area but, we have to wear shoes??? So I'm not sure what the solution is. I would really like to give it a solid go because my feet are hurting otherwise anyway. We'll see if I can figure it out. This was recommended by my doctor.

We've used this for two years for my husband's pain in his feet and legs due to Parkinson's. It does work, but one must have a routine and be persistent. It takes some weeks of using to see the benefit. We apply twice a day, and he is little troubled with the nerve pain that really afflicted him in the past. Use a cotton pad to apply as suggested, encourages me to do it since the cream won't get on my hands. And I love the new tube design!
