This book lets you know what you might be getting into by getting a llama. The author wrote almost the same book for alpacas as pets. Llamas are nice but they are really not jut pets. They are unique (some would say peculiar) creatures and our relationships with them are strange and twisted. Now alpacas are a fantasy pets, unicorns without horns, and the Rescues may fill up because little girls want one in their back yard. Llamas too!
