Senior retired citizen, need shoes supporting my metatarsals, seldom wear dress shoes and never this high, but these shoes more than delivered. I wanted a pretty shoe like this shimmery champagne-colored one in which I could walk distances, stand in at a lengthy reception, wear during a very long seated dinner, then pop-up on stage in front of large ballroom crowd. I knew that wedge-soled designs are superior support. I was really glad for the sole that cradled my sole, the adjustable straps that I had tightened to customize the fit, and the straps that stabilized my ankles when I encountered a rail-less steep center stair to the stage. Standing for at least another hour after the event was not a problem. The suggested size 7.5-8 fit well, although I might size up in a closed toe shoe after seeing stage photos in which my big toes were slightly past the shoe end. Aertex shoes are going on my preferred list!

I ordered my usual size 8 in the sand cutout, and they fit perfectly right out of the box. No break-in needed. I slipped them on and wore them through a full casual outing with no issues. I was walking through the store like I was on the runway. I knew I was cute.These are lightweight and breathable, and the arch support is adequate. I have plantar fasciitis, so I pay attention to how my feet feel, especially after standing for long stretches. At one point I was standing in place for a while and felt a little pressure in my heel, but as soon as I shifted my weight, it passed. For me, that is still a win.The wedge feels sturdy without being heavy. The stretch knit upper is comfortable and holds well without digging in. I sprayed them with a shoe protector the night before wearing them, and when it is time to clean them, I will be using my Angelus suede block and brush kit. These feel like they will hold up well with regular wear.Yes, I would buy these again. If I am going to spend my good money, it needs to be on something that is both pretty and extremely comfortable. This shoe is both. I am very happy with these shoes!

I have NEVER in my 50 years been able to wear an open-toed sandal and not lose my shoe while walking! 50 years! Even my mother was shocked. If you have a skinny foot THIS SANDAL IS FOR YEWWWW!!!! They are absolutely the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. The padding, the arch support and it came in my favorite colors: Whataburger!I'm a narrow 9.5. This fit like a glove. Will be getting more colors.

Wow. These shoes fit comfortably right out of the box. I have wide feet, little bump on the toe (bone??), and have been wearing flats since heels have been uncomfortable for awhile for me. These shoes are gorgeous, super comfortable, and the leather is sublime (so so soft). I walk very comfortable in them (am 5'3) - no wobbling.Can highly recommend!

Just arrived and already wore them out to dinner. Very very comfortable and stylish. The sizing was right on. It’s difficult to find heels that are comfortable but this one hit the mark.

I’ve ordered the Aetrex Sydney in a size 39M, black. They actually make your feet look smaller and more delicate.I wanted to love them so much but even though the size was right, the shaped footbed with “cupped” heel was too narrow for my feet even though I wear medium width shoes. Due to being too narrow, it wasn’t comfortable and I had to return it. I will try their website to see if it comes in wide.
