Many of the activities in this book remind me of my previous experiences...the tools and the ceremonies are a bit different, but the intent is the same.

I have been a student and practitioner of ritual for a long time. I think this is the first book I’ve read that makes the process of developing personal rituals so understandable. Many approaches are filled with arcane or complex ideas—and a sense that you had better get everything right or risk tearing a hole in the universe or something. This book is about reconnecting with life and using this connection to heal your own life in every sense. I loved the personal stories and how the author wove in the lore of his Toltec tradition. Highly Recommend This Book for People Beginning Their Shamanic Journey
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the activities, especially the idea of making an altar. I also never knew the meaning behind the medicine wheel, so I appreciated learning that as well. I've traveled to many sacred sites in Peru and have been in ceremony with the Q'ero shamans. Many of the activities in this book remind me of my previous experiences...the tools and the ceremonies are a bit different, but the intent is the same.

Empowering
Wow! I feel like this book came to me at the right time, a week before I started my practice as a curandera. This really enlightens my journey, the first week my Maestra gave me a gift and said for the first time “this gift will go into your medicine bag” my mind rewinds to this book. Here I am now, filling my medicine bag with wisdom from this book and my journey of learning more.

10/10 would reccomend (very beginner friendly)
I usually don't leave reviews but I had to since I finished the book already and I JUST got a couple days ago. I was a little skeptical on buying it at first since I just saw it through Amazon and just bought it cause I wanted to begin my spiritual journey and didnt know where to start and this was the first book to pop up and I'm honestly SO GLAD I CHOSE TO BUY IT! It's really a must ready for beginners, its short, sweet, and to the point but still very meaningful. My life has felt so stagnant lately n this book really helped me open my eyes to a lot. I really truly believe this book didnt pop up on accident n if ur looking for a sign, this is it! This book is the one!

Llevo mucho tiempo en el Chamanismo, estos ejercicios son muy básicos y los puntos cardinales y sus representaciones no son las correctas, sin embargo para alguien q apenas inicia esta bien
