Can this product be used for an inflatable waist life jacket that calls for 16 gram threaded CO2 canisters?

I answered the question for a 20 gram canister. It also showed up for the 16 gram. To be clear. A 16 will work for a life jacket that a 16 is called for. But a 20 gram may not.

Will this fit a hit air equestrian vest? Currently use 30cc

do the tanks hold pressure if hooked up to a co2 regulator?

No. No matter how many seals I replaced, only one of the 5 held overnight.

How many cartridges to fill a 26" x 4.8 fat bike tire?

26" = 40 - 50 psi. 27.5" = 40 - 50 psi. 29" = 35 - 45 psi. I use these for my road tires 700cc, 90 PSI per cartridge. One cartridge should be more than enough for your 26'' X 4.8 fat. use a control release valve with said Cartridge for best results

Compact to carry for unexpected flats

Works great to have on hand to fill a flat tire on my road bike. It’s easy to use and inflates the tire after I plug it. I can continue to ride on the tire and make it home on a long ride.

Great for unexpected flat

These are a must if you ride longer routes. If you have a flat tire and a spare TPU tube, to save space, in your under seat bag, with the proper head you can get a 29” tire usable with one cartridge and a 2nd will get you in real good shape.
