Excellent Quality - Perfect for Freezer Composting
Read in NY Magazine that these storage containers were great for freezer composting & they were right! Have been using for over a week now & the containers are very large & roomy & fit a lot of food scraps. Keeps it frozen til I’m ready to bring to compost bin. Also, think these would be great for other large food storage needs. Would definitely order again!

Perfect for Sourdough Bulk Fermentation!
The Cambro Food Storage Container with Lid is an absolute must-have for any sourdough baker! I’ve been using it for bulk fermentation, and it works perfectly every time. Why It’s Amazing for Sourdough:✔️ Spacious & Ideal Shape – Plenty of room for the dough to rise without overflowing.✔️ Clear Sides for Easy Monitoring – I can easily track fermentation progress without lifting the lid.✔️ Airtight Yet Breathable – The lid fits securely, keeping moisture in while still allowing for proper fermentation.✔️ Durable & Easy to Clean – Sturdy plastic that’s lightweight, stain-resistant, and simple to wash. This container has streamlined my sourdough process, making it easier to manage dough growth and fermentation times. If you're serious about sourdough baking, this is a game-changer!

Great for those still maintaining a sourdough starter
The 2 quart container holds enough dough for four 12" pizzas - mine weigh approx. 290g each - or one sourdough loaf during bulk fermentation. The 4 quart container is large enough for bulk fermentation of two sourdough loaves, 865g each. If I want to retard the dough during cold bulk fermentation, I find these containers fit in my fridge more efficiently than the round cambro containers (which are admittedly larger). These containers have actually made baking more enjoyable, if that's possible. Great purchase for me.

Excellent for the home baker
Like probably half of the adult population curing the pandemic, I tried baking and, luckily, stuck with it. I bought these because they were the same ones I saw the King Arthur folks using in their videos. I use these to store my flours and I use their larger versions for fermenting and rising dough. They are extremely well made, the tops fit well are air tight, and they still look like new after me using them a few times a week for a few months now. I recommend them highly
