This is display was easy to install and has a sharp bright screen. The touch screen took a few steps but instructions supplied were helpful. I super great deal for the price!

PC Builders Look Elsewhere
I had used this on a previous PC build (the one where the monitor is crooked at first), and since I remembered it doing what I needed fine, I decided to go ahead and purchase another for a new build. Once I received it, I remembered what a pain it was to install. You have to order special 90 degree connectors and then find a way to hold it upright (I believe I ended up going with zip ties the first time around). It worked fine, but wasn't the best. So, after a little more research, I found another option that was only a few more dollars and had actual mounting points (I didn't know when I purchased it, but it actually came with all the necessary cables to get it hooked up included, so this actually balanced the price out, possibly even cheaper). So, I returned this one and went with that one (which is pictured in the newer build- final picture). Now, I can't knock this product too much because it was designed for Pi whereas the other seemed to be focused on people using for their PC, as this has become quite popular. I haven't tried either for Pi, so if that's your goal, this one may in fact even be better. But, if like me, you are hoping to use this as an internal monitor for your PC, I'd go with another option (I'm not going to link a competitor's product, but it's quite popular, so a little searching should help). This monitor did have fantastic resolution, 60hz refresh rate and a great touch screen, which to be honest is quite impressive for the price. It's not a bad monitor at all.

Works fine
I didn't need the touchscreen functionality for my application, as the screen is embedded behind a glass portal on a 1930s radio. A little smaller than I had hoped. 7" would have been better, but it is working fine. I am using pygame/SDL to display music artist/album/song/year and album art/artist art and it is working quite well. I did not need to install any drivers.

Awesome little screen, great value... READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 1ST THOUGH
screen works right out of the box, the built in 40 pin GPIO connector matches perfectly, its got mounting hardware included, and even directions on how to install and all that. However the touchscreen function does not work straight out of the box if you are running the official Pi OS, and may not work with your OS at all, and you may have to make your own drivers for it.. and if you have any other modules or Pi Hats or anything at all on the Pi already like a fan hat, or breakout board etc the mounting hardware is not enough and even with extra pieces laying around I was unable to match any of my stand offs too the height and although you can remove it from its driver board and use the ribbon connector you will loose some functionality and it will no longer be an easy plug n play type experience...if youre using it for windows development stuff youre good.. but then again its made and sold for the pi and there are far better choices out there. it is what it is and im ok with it. but some may not be

Great screen, oddness at times.
I have this same screen rev3.0 that I use on a 3B running Raspbian11 with no issues. The first one of these (rev3.3) that I ordered, wouldn’t display the image (just scanlines) on the same device. Even if I connected via hdmi cable without being connected to the pinout. Also, the Pi worked if I just connected it to a normal monitor. It would, however, work if I plugged my macbook into it. I had it replaced, and the replacement had scanlines at boot as well, but ultimately started working properly after a few minutes. No idea why this weirdness was happening, but good to go now. Replacement was sent promptly. Great screen when there aren’t any issues, using it with octoprint.

For the price it's great.
For the money it's great. Yes thw touch screen is not great but it's not what I wanted it for anyways. Viewing angles aren't bad, 60hz refresh rate, and because it's so small the resolution doesn't seem that bad. It can easily be setup and Windows has no problem detecting it. For $40 it's great, hopefully it last long and hopefully burn in doesn't become an issue. I'll update review if something happens.

Completely useless & broken
Worked great for a few weeks. Now it will only display a white screen. Tried on multiple devices with multiple cords, it's broken.

AVOID
Update: Few months and it has already crapped out. Waste of moneyThe screen does not go off on its own so if it’s plugged into a power source, it will stay lit. The edges are also quite ugly so an additional case is needed.
