Decent
I see that there are a lot of strong opinions on this conditioner, but I found it mostly ordinary. The smell is not strong, which is common to the more "natural" products. The shampoo has a more pleasant smell, though also mild. When using this conditioner, with the shampoo, my hair does not feel too heavy, but it has a sort of coat that feels healthy. There is not much shine, which the cheapest conditioners with the artificial ingredients really excel at. The overall effect is similar to other lightweight conditioners, so I would say it is worth trying during the warmer months when many conditioners are too heavy and make hair look flat.

Deep conditioning
I am seriously impressed with how well this Catalase works. Usually all natural products don't do the deep down conditioning my hair needs. I have color treated, due to premature grey, for 30 years & I work in the brutal sun. It's like Catalase turned back time. No products, just my usual leave in spritz & hair was soft. Like toddler hair soft. This kind of reminds me of Mane & Tail. The original natural product when aerosol was still a thing. Deep conditioning, no smell & works.

Warning: shampoo formula has been cheapened
I've been using the Catalase Boost shampoo for a number of years now, either from the R&S web site or Amazon. The most recent product I received from Amazon has completely changed. Previously the formula was clear and thick and lathered well. Now it's cloudy, watered down and creates no lather. They also switched fragrances from a tolerable mint to a cheap smelling synthetic fragrance that lingers like a cheap perfume. I'm returning it after one use. They lost a customer.

Catalase Conditioner for basic hair conditioning
At the current time, the Catalase Conditioner by Best Earth is being described as a premium daily conditioner with 4x the Catalase. There is little literature or information that I could find about what exactly Catalase will do for hair care outside of supplement form. There are other formulas that are similar that claim that the use of it inside shampoo/conditioner will help with grey hair. Even so, I am passionate about hair care and was eager to try the Catalase Conditioner. The ingredient Catalase is the very last ingredient in this formula. However, it is still supposed to have 4x the amount as the original formula had per the description. I have long hair that is to the middle of my back and having a good or superior conditioner really helps my hairs overall manageability. The directions say to leave the conditioner on for 1-2 minutes and rinse. Repeat as desired. It has a light mint smell with a thick and rich undertone of plain conditioner. I do not find that this conditioner lends manageability, repairs my hair, or increases the silkiness of my hair like other premium products. There are other premium anti-aging or age-reversing conditioners that are available that do a far superior job than this product. I found the conditioning to be fairly basic and it did condition my hair some. I do not find the fragrance to be offensive and think it is mild and pleasing. I would not consider this a premium or luxury hair care product and would not order again.

Conditioner with Tea Tree fragrance, works well
The first impression of its smell felt as if it was medicinal, but as I massage my hair & scalp for a few minutes, the smell gets less and less intense leaving me with a pleasant sensation of the tea tree. The hair conditioning process took between 5-8 minutes and at the end I had a totally different impression and experience of the Catalase Conditioner. My hair is black, straight, layered and around 20" long. I used the equivalent of 2 walnuts in shell to give a good layer all over, but not necessarily focusing on the roots. The final result was beyond expectations and I intend to try the conditioner in combination with neutral shampoo in order to harvest best results for the finest ingredients this conditioner is made of.

Not aesthetically pleasing at all
So, one of the claims is that "Best Earth Naturals Catalase Boost Conditioner is formulated to replace the antioxidant enzyme Catalase, which slowly depletes as we age." OK. I don't doubt it. But I use a hair conditioner for a lot of reasons: for some kind of therapeutic effect, for a delicious scent, for a creamy, luxurious feel, and for better-feeling, more manageable hair when I'm done. With this Catalase Boost Conditioner, I only get the promise and potential of the first and NONE of the other qualities. So, I don't like it.

Helped the frizz!
I normally use leave-in conditioner on my curly hair. I need extra oils because my hair is dry and can be frizzy. I used this according to directions. Shampooed my hair, applied and left it for about 5 minutes while I finished showering. I rinsed it out as per directions. I gave my hair a little more shine but did not weight it down. There's no fragrance, too. I am allergic to fragrances and have to be very careful to read ingredients. I am very pleased and will continue to use it.

Smells Bad, Works Worse
For something this price, this conditioner is awful. It has an unappealing scent I cannot quite describe, kind of like fruity mustiness. It works worse than it smells. Even if applied to long hair in a small amounts, and rinsed well, it really makes your hair feel weighted down or coated. I tend to like most conditioners, even inexpensive ones. This one is just bad.
