SHEBA PERFECT PORTIONS Cuts in Gravy Wet Cat Food Trays (12 Count, 24 Servings), Signature Tuna and Roasted Chicken Entrée, Easy Peel Twin-Pack Trays

Unfortunately, like other reviewers, one of ours most have exploded open at some point. Kept smelling something horrible in my pantry after about 5 days of having the unopened product in there. Finally pinpointed it to the cat food. Pulled off the packaging and discovered an open container with maggots crawling all around!! So gross. I had ordered 2 packages and had already opened the first one and fed it to my cats. They licked the gravy off and wanted nothing to do with the actual food. Not sure if something was wrong with that box too or if they just didn't like the flavors!

A stray kitten showed up at my house, or was probably dropped out here in the country by some cruel people. But anyhow, I hadn't fed a cat for a long long time and didn't know exactly what she might like to eat. So this was bought just from the description. The portions are great and she loves it. I found that it's a bit cheaper for a larger quantity of another brand so I have switched to that instead. There is nothing wrong with this food at all. It is packaged in plastic containers and I'm trying to get away from buying anything in plastic, if possible.

I had bought it multiple times and had no problems in the past. For the recently packs I received in Nov, both of my cats threw up after they ate. I tried the first time and second time. They did not throw up after I changed the Sheba pate or other brands, so I am sure the packs I received were bad and I stopped giving to my cats. Very disappointed with Sheba.

Our 20 year old cat was wasting away, barely eating her dry or wet food. She would also get terribly sick every few days and her coat looked dull and oily. We assumed certain death. After three months on this, however, she is a totally different cat. She hangs out with us again and begs for this, consuming multiple servings each day. She looks much better and has only been sick once.

Update: My cats love it, it really is wet food. Ordering more now.My cats don't care much for it. It appears to be dry food moistened with water and a little oil. Not like real wet foods. I have "cuts" version not pate. My cats are used to canned food once daily and dry food always available for them. I would not buy again even though i paid 4.80 for 12 trays 24 servings.

Once in awhile I get visited by the neighbor's cats. I like to have a few treats handy and these were nice to get on sale. They are small enough and portions can be cut in half without opening all the servings (sealed per 1/2 serving) so if you want a small snack for the little munchkins then you can do that. I don't want to overfeed my neighbors cats.

I've tried so many different kinds of wet food. My kitty has a delicate tum-tum, out of Friskies, Iams, Fancy Feast and Meow Mix, Sheba is the only one she tolerates well, and she loves it. No turning up the nose at it.I highly recommend it. (My cat is a fifteen-year-old Brindle Calico)

My cats love Sheba, but this is the first time with these flavors and I hate to say it, but they just wouldn't eat the blue ones, the tuna. They will leave it on the plate and ignore it. Few of them had like swollen lids, but they don't smell bad, so I don't think they are old or anything... The other flavor they love.
