My Velcro strap just makes a complete fastening on my right hand. I drew over the no-name company advertising on all my gear with a black permanent marker. It turned out okay. I have not fallen at speed so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of these guards In a fast moving situation. Nevertheless, I think they are worth the premium price.

I used them to slide a bit on my hands rather than my body , and it was like falling with such grace, I fell and instantly thought “my knuckles are gonna screwed up if my wrist lands wrong” and I did that open your hand and bend them thing, and my wrists just floated as that hard plastic took the scraping my hands would’ve endured, and amazingly, no hand injuries ! Just dirty scuffed up shoes and scraped knee. Amazing wrist guards;

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid wrist guards, good value!

Wanted a new set of wrist guards to replace an older bulkier pair and these work great! They allow a great range of motion, they fit while wearing a watch and they have a decent amount of flex. I’ve only taken a slow fall while skating and they’ve held up well. I hope to never have to test the max limits of these, but they do feel like they’d certainly help me avoid a more serious injury than going without them. Just a note: If you carefully remove the label from the bag they come in and pull off the paper bits, you have a mesh bag for storage. They fit as the size guide suggests. The back strap is a little shorter than the front, maybe I have bulky wrists, but they still work great and stay in place. All in all, a solid purchase at a decent price. Win win!
