Got this as a gift for my 10 year old daughter who has anxiety. She likes a video clip I found of a tongue drum song that calms her so I thought she should have her own drum to play. She was so excited and it sounds so good! She was even able to play a song right away with the simple booklet it came with.

I just loved this item. It is so calming. You can learn to play it, place it outside when raining to hear nature’s version of music, or simply tap it while relaxing just listening to the notes. The calming effect was the best attribute to me!

This was my first experience with this type of instrument. I don't know much about music, but was very pleased with the drum when I got it. It has a beautiful deep tone, it's easy to experiment with. I bought it for my husband, but we're both enjoying it unlike other instruments that you have to suffer through until you learn how to play them, this tongue drum sends gentle resonant sounds through the house no matter what note you hit! (I bought the purple color, but it is more brown)

I have had this for almost 2 years the sound is not bad. But the paint chipped off and the little bottom rubber feet came off and I lost one.

I was looking for a decent drum that was not too costly. I did a good amount of research, wanted one of the more expensive but not in the budget now. Luckily I am pleased with this one and I'm glad. One of the notes is a bit off, but I can live with that and plan to try to bend the tongue a bit to see if that helps. I'm happy with the purchase. UPDATE: I have added a 2-minute video of the drum.

I purchased this for my brother's birthday. He is a musician but was unfamiliar with this drum. He LOVED it. The tone is wonderful and it is beautiful as well. It arrived with a case and both mallets and finger "sticks". I'm very happy with this purchase!

Excellent quality and soothing sounds

Really nice sound. Not enough notes to play a lot of contemporary songs- I'm not using it for meditation or healing- so I ordered a bigger one. The little song book that comes with it is silly. Small. All nursery songs

really lovely drum.havent had time to practice properly but it sounds really nice.It is a quality instrument and i think its something that you can pick up and put down for a long time to come.It will compliment my other percussion instruments with its relaxing sounding tones.

Beautiful sound,just learning how to play but even if I don't know how to play,sounds amaizing.
