Review: Good on wood - Good stuff, straight forward to apply and certainly fills the draughty gaps around my old fashioned beautiful oak front door
Review: Serves it's purpose but not sticky enough - First, this seal works well. My room is next to the kitchen and this definitely helps to muffle sounds from inconsiderate housemates and 100% doesn't let smells in. The latter was a bonus for me. I like that it was really easy to install and that there seems to be enough for 2-3 doors. It blends right in with my door and seems easy to come off when I move out. The downside to it would be that the strip doesn't stick very well to the doorframe. I keep my door closed, so it's not a problem. But I will need to buy some white glue to help them stick better in the future probably, so I subtracted a star for that. Also you need to keep in mind that the strips may interfere with the closure of your door. I had to unstick them and then place them in a different spot on the doorframe. Plus I had to cut a little away near the locking mechanism. The door still closes, but I have to put my weight behind it to push the door into the strips a little for the lock to catch. I didn't subtract a star for that as it isn't a big deal to me. I highly recommend weather strip seals in house shares! I have a bit more peace at home now.

A: I have not painted mine and I wouldn't recommend it.

**Q: Can you use this on wooden window frames?**
A: Yes, wooden frames, that's what i did... the whole house. Need to make sure the frames are properly clean and dry before applying as the strips have adhesive backing so need a good contact to adhere well.
