My cat loves this scratch pad, even sleeping on it. Very good quality as it is saving my furniture.

We’ve tried a fair few scratch mats over the years — angled ones, post ones, ones that looked like tiny sofas (why??) — but this flat mat is the winner by far.Our cat is 14. She’s basically a retired diva now. Still glamorous, still grumpy, and absolutely certain that any new item in the house must first be sniffed, ignored, and possibly judged.But this one? She loved it immediately. No dramatic sulking, no suspicious circling — she just walked over, gave it a test scratch, and flopped on it like it was a luxury daybed. Job done.We even do a little routine to encourage her — one of us kneels down and pretends to scratch it (yes, we are those people now), and she just stares like “Are you alright?” before taking over and showing us how it’s really done.She’s using it instead of the carpet — which, frankly, deserves a medal. The mat doesn’t slide, doesn’t fray after two minutes, and she seems to find the texture extremely satisfying (as do we, when it saves the stair runner).If your cat’s in her golden years but still partial to a good scratch — and you’d rather not replace your flooring — this flat-shaped marvel is the mat to get.

My cat has loved this scratch board! It’s a good size and the curve is nice so she can use it at different angles. Really nice it’s double sided so lasts longer. It’s been 4-5 months and probably should get a new one now. It does shed a lot, doesn’t bother me as my carpets are grey/beige so hardly notice and just hoover regularly. Will continue to buy in future.

I’ve bought lots of products for my cat, which she has not looked at. This board has been a lifesaver my cat used it the minute I put it down.

Small and sheds loads after kitties scratch it. I've previously got cheaper, bigger ones from TK Maxx.

I bought large. They’re tiny.Not what I expected at all. I normally get really nice ones but they’re out of stock so tried these.No good for my cat sadly.I’ll give them to a charity shopUpdate - 29/07/25 - the sellers have been on touch and without being asked offered a full refund. I accepted although I hadn’t gone down that route and they effected it very quickly.Excellent customer services. So I’ve upgraded my comments and rating.
