Wish I'd bought this ages ago!
This had made bath time so much easier for me and the dogs. The water sprays out in such a way that it seems to penetrate their fur much faster, and I love the automatic soap feeder. I take it with me to the dog park, where my dogs just get filthy, and using their hose I can have my dogs clean and rinsed in just minutes. Mine did not come with an adapter to fit my indoor shower nozzle, but I already had one. I can use this indoors or out.For reference: I have two pit bulls, so short hair dogs.Pros: The spray is neither too hard or too soft. I had one other Rapidbath nozzle for the shower that sprayed the water out so hard I wouldn't even use it on the dogs- it would have been water torture! I've since moved that one outside and use it wash the car. This one has two choices for water pressure, and ironically I find the 'Low' option to work better than the 'high'. But both options are really effective (not too hard, not too soft) for washing.I love the soap feature. I use that first and my dogs are wet and sudsy on the first go. With a little bit of hand scrubbing to help, I'll have surface-clean dogs in no time. For dogs who aren't that fond of bathtime in the first place, the faster the better. Easier on all of us.The more I've used, the less they fight me through the process. Probably because it's become so quick and easy.Rinsing is fast! Whatever they've done with the oxygen/water combo, it gets right through the fur and soap is gone.Cons: It uses a TON of shampoo. I started buying the cheapest shampoo I could find just for this device because it uses so much. Now I don't care, and it's worth it to have clean happy dogs.If you want a good, deep, thorough cleaning, skip the auto-soap feed and just get your dog wet and hand wash. The auto soap just doesn't quite get down in there deep, and it doesn't seem to provide enough lather to really scrub up, in spite of how much soap it uses! It still makes bathtime easier because of the faster water penetration. I save the good shampoo for the thorough baths and use the cheap stuff for the quick rinse-off baths. Rinsing is still a dream with this sprayer though, even with a heavier lather.Overall: I still think it's the best purchase I've ever made for dog bathing. We are outside with our dogs a lot and they are constantly splashing through mud puddles, chasing through underbrush, rolling in what-is-that-SMELL stuff. I used to hate letting them just go be dogs in the dirt because bath time was such a chore. But with this, it's squirt-squirt-done, and they are mud-free and odor-free in minutes. Love it.

Really works!
Just got this in today and tried it for the first time. I think this items works well and it works as advertised. Here are a few observations. Several reviews mentioned that the water stream is not very strong. I noticed that the instructions mentioned using with a 50 foot hose or shorter and I do think this makes a difference (I tried a 100 foot hose and a 50 foot hose) in the strength of the stream. In any case it does not put out a very brisk stream of water so if this is what you are looking for you may be disappointed. The soap dispenser is easy to load and I found the item easy to hold and handle. The soap "bathe" function works very well, producing a frothy stream of effective soapy water. I found it very easy to thoroughly and quickly wet my dog's coat and get a sudsy lather. My dog is a medium to short haired dog (black lab mix) and I found it very effective on her coat. I still think some hand scrubbing is needed to really get the dog coated but this device cut my shampooing time by much more than half. The rinse function completely stops the soap flow so rinsing was a snap. There is a low and high rinse function and honestly I didn't find much difference in flow between the two. Again the flow is sufficient for effective rinsing but not brisk like the flow from a garden sprayer. After use I dumped the extra shampoo from the device easily back into the container and rinsed it out...just took a few seconds. All in all I found this device very effective and am very pleased with it. It drastically cut down the time it takes to bathe my dog although it was more than 3 minutes! I think it is a good value at this price point. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars mainly because I have concerns about how long this all plastic device will hold up.

I put the control on bathe and altho she certainly liked how the water felt
I was so looking forward to this. I have 2 large thick coated German Shepherds I bathe all the time. They were bathed last week. Altho I certainly did not expect to bathe them in 3 mins I felt this system might just make it all around quicker and easier. For my first dog I used the thickest shampoo I had. She has a very oily coat and I often have to pre wash her to get the water to soak into her coat. I put the control on bathe and altho she certainly liked how the water felt, no soap. So I poured some out and thinned it with water. This time I did get some soap but no lather at all. It used way less than I usually use....which I did expect but it used about 25% of what I normally use. Even tho I didnt get lather I rinsed and she seems clean....smells more like wet dog tho than a freshly shampooed dog. For the second dog I dumped out the thick shampoo and tried a thinner one....thinner than honey. I can usually use a good 1/4 of a bottle of shampoo on him. He is 90 lbs with a very thick coat. Well...this time I got even less shampoo. I could see a few bubbles in the tub but certainly none on the dog. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get soap on him. The level of the soap hardly moved in the handle. Again...he smells like a wet dog rather than a freshly shampooed one. Now in all fairness, I have well water and so we don't have water psi like the city but our water psi if very good. I do know soap will suds in our water so I am ruling that out for the reason of no lather. I used about as much soap out of it as I would use to wash my hands which is way too little for my dogs. They need more soap than that to get them clean. The dogs really liked how the water felt...its alot like a massage. I will use it only for wetting and rinsing and will soap by hand. If it had lathered I would have given it 5 stars.
