A fabric raised garden bed shaped like a boat? Not quite as advertised...
I have used fabric raised beds for 4 years now, this is my 5th year and 8th bag bed. I decided to try this new brand and purchased the bed that is advertised as 6x3 ft. Upon initial inspection it was found that the bed is about 5 ft 8 inches and stretched to much larger than 3 ft at the mid point. It is shaped like a large kayak boat, or fat canoe. Not quite the advertised size, and not the advertised rectangle shape.I filled this with 16 cubic feet of high quality organic soil, (192 lbs). You can imagine correctly that this is a costly amount of dirt. Even with this large amount of dirt, it is not looking quite full, although I hesitate to add any more because the midpoint of the long sides on this bed are structurally unsound, and are collapsing (see photos). From appearance, it seems to be of the same sewn quality as the brand name bags with much higher cost that I have previously used, so I suspect it could last through years of changing seasons, and cold winters as the others have. However, with the structural malfunction, I do not have high hopes for this product. You get what you pay for!

Need support
What I don't like about the bags is that the larger sizes need support. When you add dirt the bags don't stand up, the sides bulge out and the bag doesn't keep it's shape. I ended up stacking cinder blocks along the sides of my bag and that looks ugly.

Plants grew wonderfully in these!
The only downside to this bag is the sides kept folding in but when I added more soil they decided to bulge outward. So I nailed three 1x2x6” (evenly spaced) onto a 1x2x4’, laying the 4’ piece toward the inside of the bag for support. Placing the 6” pieces against the material of the bag, I nailed thru the material and into the boards to hold in place. I drilled a hole through the tops of the 6” pieces and the material. I did this for both sides of the bag. Then I ran a piece of wire through the holes, wrapping it around once before running it across the bag and through the hole of the adjoining 6” pieces and material. Now the sides stand up perfectly and the wire is small enough it doesn’t affect the plants. This is the second year of using this bag. Last fall I cleaned out the plant debris, layered dead leaves from the yard (no chemicals were used in the yard) on top the soil and covered the entire bag with 6 mil plastic. When I uncovered it this year, the leaves had composted down to only a thin layer remained. I scraped them off, mixed up the soil and tested it. The test were good so I added some slow release fertilizer and additional soil then replanted. The second bag I folded in half creating a 3x3 to put on top of a table. Again I had to nail boards in place to hold it up but it works perfectly for me. I really love these grow bags!

Don’t buy. It’s not what pictures show. Weak sides. Shale is not rectangle
Impossible to get correct shape. Mine looks like a boat. Sides are thin. Sorry I bought it. Too late to return.

Help
I am not happy this product does not seem to be as sturdy as I thought it would be. As you can tell from the picture it (the sides) does not stand up on its own the sides keep falling in so if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I will adjust my rating if someone can tell me how to get the product to do what it supposed to do. I ordered 2, and I'm not even sure if I am going to open the other package.

nope
Not great at all, the supplier shipped it fast so that was nice but the product is just awful. The fabrics used are just flimsy and very thin to the degree that when you add dirt the walls collapse outward and there goes all your hard work. I countered this wall failure with tomatoe spikes that helped keep the walls up and that will probably last me this growing season. I dont expect this garden bag to last more than 1 year anyways the fabric is really thin.

Makes for an easy raised bed insert
Simply built a barrier around it and voila! Sturdy raised bed

Okay
These have strong fabric and are bigger than I though they would be. It took almost an entire truck (small pickup) of dirt to fill them up. That said, they have no strength on the corners. The picture I moly’s that they will actually be in a rectangle shape when full of dirt and this is not the case. The sides have no integrity at all and the seams are not even on the corners so the shape turns into a blob when full. These will work but I will not purchase again in the future.

Contient beaucoup de terre, mais instable.
Je l'ai acheté pour planter des légumes. Contient 12 sacs de terre. Cependant les rebords ne tiennent pas droit.
