Plant and Animal Alphabet Coloring Book (Dover Alphabet Coloring Books)

I loved the artwork, absolutely beautiful! The down side is that the pictures are front to back so any type of marker I tried bled through and ruined the picture on the other side. On that same note, if you are intending on displaying them as a whole alphabet, you need to buy two books.

I've only just begun coloring these sheets but have been enjoying them very much. There is one page for each letter of the alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet has small pictures of animals and plants inside it that go along with that letter. In the back is a key to what animals are used in each drawing. I used this as a tool to find actual pictures of the animals and attempt to color them in a similar manner. It can also be a learning tool if you are working with a young person. One disadvantage to this book is that the drawings are on both sides of the page so if you want to color and frame you must photocopy first. You do get a lot of pictures fairly inexpensively, since there are pictures withint the picture, so a pretty good buy.

Love this book. These letters have been around for decades. I used letters in my science class on the wall. Kids love them.

This coloring book keeps my kids coming back - even to the pages they have already colored - to try to figure the names of all the animals (and plants) on each page. I especially like that there are plants and animals that my younger children (5 & 7) can name, but also animals that challenge my older children (11, 13, & 14) to figure some out. Page "X" was a very difficult for all of us, but fortunately the author also includes a key and listing in the back of the book of the animals that appear on each page.  Plant and Animal Alphabet Coloring Book (Dover Coloring Books)  I don't typically like coloring books - but this one is SO much more!

Very fun doing the letters of my grandsons name! And they are coming out beautiful!

I had this book years ago in my classroom and students and staff loved it. I just bought 2 copies to give as gifts. I think they'll be great stress relievers. The letters are great for names and initials and would look great matted and framed.

I copied the pages onto card stock and will eventually mat and frame for my 2 yr old granddaughter's bedroom. I am learning the plants and animals as I color; thank you for the key at the back of the book! I'm now on F.

A wonderfull book that allows us to form and colour names (or just a letter) .A pretty good gift for friends. It's also good to learn and teach english names. One can also use the pictures inside this book and create new drawings inside the letters wiht our own language. (I'm from Portugal). I recommend it.

very disappointed in these. I was hoping each letter was on it's own but they're not.

This is a beautiful book, I bought it for my sister who before she was married was 'Lesley Tillett' she hasn't started to colour yet, but she will do as therapy..well worth the price..

Loved this, a bit different from the others as it all letters of the alphabet with pictures contained within them.
