The Tortoise or the Hare

Toni Morrison has long been my favorite author and I'm ecstatic to know that she had the opportunity to work with her son Slade to create something so beautiful. This book is a joy to read and delivers a great message and life lesson for children.

Love Toni Morrison...master story telling!

I love Toni Morrison and love the story of the tortoise and the hare. Toni Morrison's take on this brought incredible pleasure to my 3 year old niece who chose it for story time 2 weeks in a row. It's jazzy and rhythmic and the moral is still there though with an interesting twist. The illustrations are very fun and seem to be alive, so much so one of my favorite little girls acts them out.

This book was perfect for a basket that I made for a baby shower. The illustrations are great and the book is in wonderful shape. Hope my new nephew loves it!

Superb

This is not the tortoise and the hare and the lessons it teaches. I would like to return it. It is a story using the title of another story.

Nice twist on a classic tale.

This book is terrible. They have the tortoise and the hare tie in the end??? How can you teach a life lesson to your children about being patience and prescience when the one fable that teaches that has been rewritten into a tie.

My son enjoys this story book.
