The Frog Prince, Continued

Loved this book when I was a kid and now I got it for my baby to be! The quality was great and was new!

My kids really like this book and so do I!

I bought this to read to my students and discuss theme. I usually like this author’s books, and this one was okay, but I did not enjoy the end. The kids were lukewarm about it, too. Still, for the price it is nice to have another of this author’s books as part of my class library.

The Frog Prince, Continued, is one version of the Frog Prince I chose for my daughter's first-grade classroom. It is the followup to the Frog Prince. Students will also enjoy the reference to other Fairy Tales within the story. When children can see many versions of the same tale it adds to their understanding of story and character development. Plus, they have the enjoyment of hearing the story and seeing the many different illustrations. It encourages them to create their own stories and drawings. I loved it.

I read what it was and then I read the book. So much fun. My grands are going to love it. I read it to the 4 year old and he asked me to read it again. I think it is a great book for all ages.

One of my favorites as a child that I would randomly remembered because of the beautiful and quirky illustrations.

My roommate, also a teacher, introduced me to this book for years. It is fantastic. I buy it for all my young students. In the story, the frog prince comes upon three witches. It is not blatant which fairy tale the witches are from, so it is a great practice in deduction. It also serves as a great conversational piece - "What happens after 'happily ever after'?" After reading this story, I have my more advanced students write sequels to their favorite stories (reading and writing exercise from one book).

Nice book but really disappointed by the condition really poor. I buy a lot of second hand books from amazon and this is the first time I have felt it is not up to stander and should not have been sold.

Great follow up to the Frog Prince. Pictures are brilliant. Lots of discussion to be had just on the first page.

Great . Have used this book before for reading and writing development . Kids love it and it promotes great language development .

Daughter found it funny and cool how the stories are written. We love to laugh and we love creative stuff. We enjoy thinking out the box.
