Not as good as 11
Don’t get me wrong it’s still a good movie it just doesn’t hold my attention the same way as the first movie (11). Still a must watch if you’ve never seen it though! You can’t pass up a movie with a cast like this!

Superb movie with a complex plot
Another superb "heist" movie with romance, comedy and drama piled on for good measure (Soderbergh gives you a heap'n help'n of entertainment value.)SPOILER ALERT: I'm going to simplify the plot: keep in mind that the boys meet with LeMarc BEFORE Toulour challenges Danny to steal the egg. So everything after the safe-cracking in Amsterdam is a ruse put on to deceive Toulour in retaliation for ratting them out to Benedict.Me, I don't care about the plot. Soderbergh plots are too fanciful to take seriously. I come for the scenery (Como, Paris, Rome, Miss Jones) and the light-hearted romp.I've watched it a hundred times. It never gets old for me.

Good but some rather embarassing shortcomings
I see from looking at some of the reviews that the general consensus is that this one is not as good as the first one - what a surprise. The premise is at least believable - the casino owner tracks them down and gives them choice between a dirt nap or paying him back. The cast still work well together, and I found the two French thieves an interesting subplot. What I did not find amusing - in fact I found it to be rather boring - was Zeta Jones whole role in the movie (it was a little too close to Entrapment) and the whole long embarrassing section with Julia Roberts pretending to be herself in the museum, which just went on far, far too long. Bruce Willis' cameo was well done, but it wasn't nearly enough to save that whole section of the move (that what the fast forward button on the remote is for). Other than that, it was an enjoyable heist movie, so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of film.

A lovely ride!
The storyline was a little stretching of credulity but the execution was Steven Soderbergh's usual brilliance. There were two things I especially liked. First the geographic scope. I love movies and stories that flit from place to place, and O-12 doesn't disappoint. From East Haven (actually shot in Lake Forest IL) to Amsterdam, to Lake Como, to Rome, to Paris, and the Riviera, and not to mention Vegas, I loved it.The second thing was how well the movie rode the line between taking it self too seriously and devolving into complete farce. It was a joy to see the fun the actors clearly had wearing their now familiar characters and nowhere more so than with those really priceless lines. When Matt Damon's character seeks clarification from Julia Roberts' character who says what she's having to do is "Just wrong", his delivery of "You mean...morally?" is perfect. Or when Elliot Gould asks of the fortune teller, "This? You couldn't see this?" There are many more too numerous to list, but all in all, a lovely, colorful and entertaining ride!

Good Flick (No spoilers, I promise)
Second film in the Daniel Ocean trilogy featuring an all-star cast of hollywood legends. After being tipped off about who robbed him of $160 Million in the first movie, the powerful and ruthless owner of Las Vegas' three largest casinos, Terry Benedict, wants his money back...with interest. Unable to pay off a debt just shy of $200 Million under threat of death, Ocean's crew come together for a new job, this time in Amsterdam, Holland. The story has some twists and the bumpy ride is hard to follow the first time through. The magic comes in the crew's exit strategy. As in Ocean's Eleven, we have a front row seat as it plays out in front of us. What is not clear right away is that once again, we are watching the exit strategy unfold from the very beginning.

NOT a good sequel
I remember now why I didn't buy this earlier. I saw Ocean's 11 and it was good. I saw this at the cinema and it was awful. Ii fogot. Then I bought this DVD many years on. I'm glad I bought it second hand and only payed a few pennies plus postage. Summary: Ocean's 11: good, Ocean's 12: awful, Ocean's 13: surprisingly okay bearing in mind how awful 12 was.

Ocean's Twelve Blu Ray
This film is 'ok'. It's not as gripping as the first in the trilogy, but was decent enough. Plot line wears a little thin, but I bought this to see the picture quality on blu ray - which I can't fault. Sharp picture and great colours.

It's alright.
It's an alright film. Couldn't really watch it more than once, but it's worth the watch when bored and nothing better to do.
