If you're used to prime shipping, the 3+ week shipping time will disappoint.PackagingPackaging was pretty minimal - just a cardboard box (which arrived torn open) with bubble wrap. The barbell itself was unharmed, but a beefier box would have been good. But at the end of the day it's a barbell - it survived the trip just fine.The barIt's a solid, well built bar. Some folks have mentioned the knurling is too much but I found it was just fine. Excellent grip. It's rated for 300 pounds - while this would be a ridiculous amount for a mortal to curl, it does seem that the bar would easily hold the weight. You're not gonna break it. It weighs in at 20 pounds on my bathroom scale.There's a little play in the sleeves. It's not a lot, and for a curl bar rated to 300 pounds it doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's not enough to make noise or anything. If I was trying to rip a 400 pound clean or something it might be an issue but for us home gym bros trying to get huge pipes it seems totally fine.They spin fine, and are held on with retaining clips rather than bolts, which is better than the curl bars I've seen in many commercial gyms.
