In other words, what is its minimum length?** A: From my own quick fold and grab tape measure ment I'd say approximately 21 to 22 inches **Q: How long can this strap go?** A: just about 4 feet at its longest **Q: What's the diameter on the hooks? I need a replacement strap that'll fit into smallish holes.** A: They're the size of most luggage type strap hooks....consider they're designed to hold/secure outdoor gear for hunting hiking n such, they're not real big but they are not small at all for smallish holes' sake; they wont suit you. **Q: I am interested in using this strap as a stabilizer strap on a sling pack.
