Unisex Vegan 1460 8 Eye Boot, Black Felix Rub Off, 7 Women/6 Men

I am not one to spend over a hundred dollars on one article of apparel, but I work every day in a high-volume vegan restaurant that requires me to wear black, non-slip footwear. It is next to impossible to find anything fashionable that meets these requirements. I was tired of spending $70-90 every six months on cheap and ugly shoes that were destined to fall apart. I was so excited when I found that Dr. Martens makes a Vegan version of their classic 1460 boot! It was a splurge that I am very happy to have made! They came out of the box looking exactly like the photos. I wore them to work the same day I got them and didn't develop any blisters at all. The sizing was spot-on (I normally wear a US Women's 6.5 in shoes, I opted for a US Women's 7) and they are incredibly comfortable! The man-made leather is very supple and easy to clean. I am also very impressed with their versatility. I will be wearing them to work every day but I can also wear them with a variety of other outfits. I would most definitely recondmend these to anyone who needs a pair of guilt and cruelty free boots!

Truly my best footwear purchase EVER. I wore these practically every day for 6 months straight when I got them. They're perfect in every season and they give a subtle edge to every outfit. While they are quite clunky, I feel like the extremely narrow ankle area helps form a more flattering silhouette than other boots. Some things to note: - Docs need to be broken in, either by wearing them or some other means of shoe stretching. The vegan leather is no exception. - These are NOT winter boots. They will not keep your feet warm in the snow. If you want to wear them as snow boots, I would suggest going up a half or whole size and wearing 2-3 pairs of socks. Seriously, your toes will FREEZE. - Docs have little to no arch support, so if that matters to you, buy a pair of inserts for them. Those warnings aside, I love docs and I will continue to buy every single color they come out with vegan versions of!

I bought these because I like the fact that they look and 'feel' just like leather but they are not! I usually wear a US Women's size 7.5 and decided to go with the 7 because I heard they can run a little bit large, and boy do the 7's fit perfectly! They really didn't take much time to be worn in and they are comfortable after a week's use! They look great and don't make my feet look big and bulky as I was afraid they might. For the price, you really can't get much better than these!

What can I say? I'm so happy to finally be back in my docs! When I was younger, I wore my docs pretty much every day; but, after going vegan, I had to retire them for more friendly shoes. I looked for vegan docs, but they didn't make them at the time. About two years ago, I saw that vegan docs were a thing again and so I ordered a pair from the Doc Marten website. I am between sizes (women 7.5) so I went into a local store and tried on some non-vegan docs and decided that an 8 was going to be the best fit for me. Unfortunately, when my size 8 (mens 7) docs arrived, they felt a little loose. I should've returned them, but opted to add inserts instead. That was two years ago, and I'd never been able to wear them for more than a few hours at a time, because they just flopped around on my feet- even with thick socks and inserts. So last week I broke down and ordered a women's 7 (mens 6) from Amazon and they fit PERFECTLY! Of course, there is no arch support and I may end up adding in one on my right foot. But I also know that docs eventually mold to your foot, so I might just give it some time. If you're between sizes, I might suggest sizing down on these. The leather version in the store fit me better at a size up, but the vegan version is a 100% better fit for me at a size down and I rarely size down, unless it is in a sandal.

Very pretty but runs small. Ideally I would be a 7.5 but they don’t come in half numbers . I will just wait for them to get more comfy after they break.

I really like these boots, and proud they are made with no animal products!! If you are particular about exact fit out of the box - the tongue area under the laces was a little snug on the top of my foot. I don't have wide feet. I wear a 7.5 in most shoes. I have gotten used to it and I think it has loosened after wearing a handful of times. Straight out of the box I wore them on Halloween doing a lot of walking, so it was manageable and didn't stop me from enjoying them.

Decided to update 5 YEARS LATER!: I still love these bad boys, though i cringe at my review writing skills which still haven’t improved in such time lmao. Anyway, i love DM and these still kick ass. 5 years going strong! Updates review a year later: I have had these boots for year now. They have held up beautifully. I wear them pretty much every single day because of how comfy they are. I stick by everything I said in my first review. I highly recommend these. Im really in shock with some of the negative reviews for these because I have had the complete opposite experience with them. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! original review: PERFECT! i got a size 7(which is my normal size) they fit great! I'm happy with my purchase. Definitely worth the buy. Vegan boots, no animals were harmed & they make every outfit look great, it's the best of both worlds!

Sadly, these were a gift that I gave one of my adult kids for Christmas and they are already falling apart.

J'ai ces chaussures depuis un an maintenant. Elles ne présentent toujours pas le moindre signe d'usure, ni au niveau du "faux cuir", ni au niveau de la semelle. Pourtant je les ai presque constamment aux pieds ! J'ai changé la semelle intérieure (qui n'est qu'une demi-semelle assez fine) pour mettre une semelle en gel pour plus de confort. Elles sont très belles, elles n'ont pas du tout un aspect "plastique", et elles deviennent de plus en plus belles au fur et à mesure que je les porte. Elles m'ont blessé au niveau du tendon d'Achille au début mais j'ai toujours eu les pieds très sensibles, et toutes mes chaussures me blessent au début. Je travaille souvent en les portant, alors que je suis debout non-stop et que je fais pas mal d'allées et venues, elles sont confortables et leur semelle est antidérapante. Je suis convaincue, je les recommanderai à un(e) ami(e) et je compte même m'en racheter dans d'autres coloris !

Elles sont magnifiques, sobre et originale à la fois. Vegan contrairement aux idées reçues elles sont d'excellentes qualités, je les porte depuis plus de 2 ans, elles n'ont pas bougées. Et elles sont très agréable à porter.
