True! Never spray an insecticide if flowers/fruits are present. We need bees for or own survival.

Will this truly cure the powdery mildew on my zinnias?

It sure will Catherine. This product has been proven for effective control of powdery mildew. You may apply every 7-14 days as needed for an active disease infestation. It would also be helpful to try to remove effected foliage if possible to help reduce spread.
