America Test Kitchen recommended baking a cheesecake pan in a larger pan to avoid getting seepage if you use a water bath. Would this pan work.

I bake cheesecakes in a traditional round pan all the time. I line with parchment, lightly grease the sides and bake in a water bath. Cool, cover with plastic wrap, then chill overnight in the pan, then warm slightly over a stove burner , shake to loosen and invert onto a cake round, peel off the parchment if it comes out of the pan with the cheesecake (mine usually remains in the pan), then invert again onto a serving tray or another cake board. Never had a problem!

Will the 7"x3" fit in the 6qt duo plus instant pot

Where is this pan made?

Made in China, but of excellent quality. I have 3 of 8"x2"; 2 of 9"x2"; 2 each of springform pans in sizes 6", 8", 9" and 10.

Duncan Hines yellow mix: 35 min at 325 degrees. 2 7-inch cakes. They were pretty full. They rose to the top of the 2-inch pan.
