are you sure you have the write actuator because you should not have to struggle with it

maytag and kenmore are one of the same but I can not guarantee that it will work, what I would suggest that you do is go on Kenmore website and find out what actuator is used on that washer,, that's what I did and took a chance and it worked for me.
