Brought for 3 year old son who really got into bugs. At this age he just loves looking through at the pictures and naming what he sees, they have lift the flap in this book which any child will love to do. It has loads of information about what bug or insect it is and what they do and so on. Good book for those who loves insects and need to know more. Comes as a hard back book.

This is an excellent book for little ones learning about the world outside. I absolutely loved the honey bee page as the flaps are cut as hexagons. My son loves to open the flaps with the butterflies. Beautifully illustrated and very informative- a keeper.

My 3 year old grandson who is completely into nature, loves lifting the flaps on this book and seeing the lovely illustrations underneath .

Beautiful illustrations, lots of information in small bite sized chunks under the flaps. Lots of fun for my 2 &4 year olds, reading progression (&fun) for my 6 year old.

Beautiful book. My daughters love it.

Usborne did it again! Usborne flap books are one of my daughter's favourites right now. They are so engaging, promote specific areas of learning and language skills. I also love that they can be paired with similar themed activities (e.g., in this case pairing it with a butterfly or bug unit) and they can grow with the child. My daughter is 2.5 and finds this book so interesting by flipping the flaps to see what is going on under each one, talking about the pictures and more... just think about the opportunities it will provide her as she grows and her reading skills also grow with her. I love love love books and the language skills they provide! Any way to get my little ones excited about reading is a win for me!

Very nice book and really nicely illustrated. I love it.

My son can’t get enough of this book. There is always something new to discover on each page and the flaps with extra details keeps him interested. The pictures are detailed and beautiful.

I gave this seller, Thinktonight, five stars because the packaging for this book was top notch! Zero damage during shipping and it took more than a week for me to receive. Aside from the packaging the book looks great! Beautiful imagery and colors and kids love opening flaps so it’ll help to keep them entertained while I read some of the information. Bugs are important to learn about! Atleast on a basic level of understanding! There are not a lot of pages as the pages are all hard for the flipping of the pictures so if you’re for a book more filled with the plethora that is bugs I’d look elsewhere but this book is great for little ones 0-5 IMO. Mine are 2mnths, 5, and 8
