Capella Flavor Drops HAZELNUT Concentrate 13ml

I purchased these flavor drops looking for a non-sweetened way to add hazelnut flavor to my iced lattes at home without putting flavoring-covered coffee beans through our grinder. I read somewhere that with Capella's 1 drop per ounce was a good place to start, and it was PERFECT. I used 8 drops in my small iced latte, it was AMAZING. I've been adding this flavoring to other foods with success, anything where I want a nutty, chocolatey, or coffee flavor, and it's so incredibly perfect. This is the strongest but most delectable flavor extract I've ever tried. Ever.I also like to try to my flavors straight.... I do not recommend. It doesn't say on the label to do that, so that's on me. But in coffee, in CEREAL, in peanut butter, in cookies, in frosting, SO GOOD! And the fact that I can add maybe 8 drops to a 14oz hot latte is just fantastic. This bottle will LAST.I am here writing this review because I came to look for a third flavor of Capella's to purchase and realized I never reviewed the others I purchased. It's seriously the best flavoring. The only two flavors I do buy pure extracts for are vanilla and almond, but honestly, with the price of vanilla right now, Capella's is giving them a run for their money, and I might just buy a bottle and see where we go. The bottle has a label made of weird paper that feels sticky but isn't.... that's my complaint. That's it. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

I love these drops for flavoring. The Hazelnut is okay, but the Toasted Almond is better. Great for adding a little something different to coffee.

I have been trying to use plain yogurt and add my own flavor to cut on added sugar. I used a couple drops in a cup of plain yogurt with a bit of Splenda and it’s perfect. Tastes very authentic and delicious.

not what i was hoping, looking for a BIG hazelnut flavor without additives

I use about 8 drops in a 20 oz cup of coffee, and it's just right for me. I can taste the hazelnut, but it's not overpowering and isn't sweet. I've tried others and the flavor is just artificial enough to be offputting. Not this one, though.

It smells like a good hazelnut but that smell is very deceiving. It's very weak on taste. Label says add one drop . . . more or less to taste. I ended up using 20 drops to a cup of coffee & finally began tasting hazelnut but it is a NASTY TASTING hazelnut. I have never tasted any hazelnut this bad. In my opinion this is definitely NOT a good product. Don't waste your money. You will be screwed. And be aware: This product is not available for return (something about the flammable ingredients).

Not to our liking for coffee

Makes excellent Hazelnut flavored coffee. I use 1 drop for every 4 ounces of coffee, so 3 drops for a 12oz cup. Considering so little is needed I expect the bottle to last a long time and be well worth the price. It looks like the negative reviews say the stuff doesn't taste like hazelnut, which I guess is a matter of opinion but they should at least describe what they think it does taste like to them. To me, it tastes and smells exactly correct for flavoring coffee. I imagine it works in other beverages too!
