Craf-T Products Metallic Rub-On Paint Set 7 Colors Kit #2

Years ago, I came across this product in an independent scrapbook store. I have been trying to find this product for approximately 10 years. It’s great with any type of paper crafting, which includes adult coloring. This is great for backgrounds. It gives a lot of shimmer and depth to your pages. I am gonna try to order all the colors that are available. Again, great product and worth the price. It lasts a long time.

I use it to add highlights to my card projects and just love the results. Apply with a finger for the most control.

I tried this product on my air dried clay taper and it gave me just the result I was looking for... just a subtle highlight on the raised elements. All these shades for the price of one tube of Rub n Buff. I will be purchasing the colored palette immediately!

Much to my surprise I really love this new-to-me different way of creating really beautiful cards! The "paint" actually to the touch, feels more like shoe polish. It feels a bit waxy, and when applying it, it will glide over your paper. That said, I will admit it's going to take some practice to figure out the best way to apply this metallic paste to the raised/embossed parts of the cardstock. But when you figure it out, it's like a one-two punch! Some video's show using your finger, but I found when I did that it quickly became messy. I fared better when I used an end of a Q-tip. I took some of the cotton off the Q-tip, and manipulated it with my fingers so it became thin & almost pointy. Changing the shape of one end of the Q-tip helped make the application of this paste quite a bit neater. There are enough different colors that I feel this set would make quite a few beautiful cards. I was sad to one of the hinges on the lid was broken, straight out of the box.

Nice color, but I use them wood picture frames for accent and the paint never dries! I cover it with fixative but it still rubs off on your hands. Strange.

I teach card making workshops. We used the rubs on embossed flowers. Everyone was very surprised and pleased how beautiful their cards turned out.

A nice selection of colors...works very well

Used for polymer clay items, goes on really well, but not so easy to get off, this could be the clay though, for the price really good, nice colours.

It’s a bit less waxy than I was hoping. It works though.

I love these products. I turned an aged garden ornament into the beautiful colourful item you can see. Followed by a sealer ceramic spray. Can get messy fingers but being creative is so good for you.

These are great to just rub on a bit of color.
