UltraTech1802 Ultra-Sidewinder Cable Protection System with Endcaps, 40 Length x 3 Width x 3/4 Height, Black, Small

The product is just what I was looking for, good quality and easy to use. Despite some people having problems assembling it, how hard can it be to "click" to pieces together...?! I use it in my shop and people walk over it and cross it with hand trucks almost every day with no problems. The segments make it easy to customize the length and the "snake" feature makes up for any obstructions or things you have to work around. The company shipped it extremely quickly with no excuses as to why the couldn't.

Pros: Durable, sturdy material. Very visibleCons: It is extremely hard to insert the cord, the groove to host the electrical cord should be a little deeper to ease the insertion of the cord. There's no rubber footing to prevent the cable protector from slipping on a hard surface floor if someone steps on it.And for all those reasons, I'll give it only 2 stars

My husband and I like the flexibility, appearance, and ease of using this system. We had read about other cable protectors not lying flat because they were packed rolled. The Ultra-Sidewinder lies flat, and in fact will flex laterally but not vertically. We bought the black version and added a brown 1 foot extension, and made a regular pattern of 3 black and 1 brown segments.We have a flat 14 gauge 3-wire extension cord plus a round phone cable in it, and there's a bit more room for another 1 or 2 phone or ethernet cables. We have not tried other products, but suspect it's easier to push cables into the small tabs in each segment than to push cables into a long slit.This system is more expensive than other protectors we considered, but we did not want to worry about keeping the protector from coiling. We also like the somewhat snaky appearance.

These are great and were exactly what I was looking for. They went together with one click and put together in less than a minute. I was looking for an outdoor wire cover that could accommodate a curved path. The other ones that I ave tried never worked. I had to get 3 of small ones to cover the path I needed so my only complaint would be the cost - with they were cheaper. Other than that I would recommend this if you are looking for a wire cover for areas that do not just go in a straight line.

Great wire protector, looks really good. I wish the yellow/black was as cheap as the brown one because i think it looks a lot better, oh well though. If you're thinking about getting a wire protector this is the one to get, don't get the ones that you have to tape to the floor, or come rolled up. I got one of those before i found out about this brand i hated it, it never unkinked from being rolled up so it never laid flat, and double sided tape did not help.

This cable cover works great for what we need. A little bit troublesome to run the cable underneath the cover but that's what makes it secure. No need to use adhesive as it stays flat on the floor. Also, it's great that you can link additional cover. I would recommend this product.

These are heads and shoulders above any cord protectors that try to stick to the floor

The 'sidewinder' cable cover is perfect. The important thing is that it came from a reputable place. There are websites that sell only cable covers but for some reason show up as "untrustworthy" when using the Web of Trust add-on. It is flexible yet sturdy. Comes in a 3 foot length which provides pretty good coverage.12/13Update: Purchased a 2nd one. Added plus is that the product is Made in the USA. Still satisfied...glad I picked up another!
