Excellent Resource
I really enjoyed this. As a former Boy Scout in my youth, I especially appreciated the format and structure, focused on the theme of orienteering one's way through the maze of business ethics. As a former business owner, the insights on Alcoa were well done and a very useful illustration of the principles described. Currently, as a pastor and theologian, I spend a good deal of time dealing with ethics and this book is thoughtful without being preachy and is fairly consistent with what I would term, "Biblical Ethics." My only critique is that in some spots, the treatment can lean toward "the end justifies the means." This is not a dominant view, nor is it consistent throughout the book. The text is not designed to be religious in its scope, yet one's view on religion tends to weigh heavily into the world of ethics. This is a book that I have recommended and have given to another friend of mine who teaches ethics in leadership as a useful tool. I would commend it as a resource.

Simple and straight forward.
I have always found ethics to be interesting, but the hassle of finding someone or something to explain the basics of ethics to me without being overly verbose and confusing was almost impossible and so I never got into ethics as much as I wanted to. But this book lays it out simply and concisely. Even though the examples pertain to the business world, it is super easy to convert them into other everyday life situations. Five stars!

What are the thirteen most common types of ethical dilemmas and what to do about them.
Brad Agle and team provide a unique book on ethics that will serve as a reference guide on my desk at work. Brad and team give real life examples of the thirteen types of ethical dilemmas and how to handle them. In section two of his book, he gives the philosophy and background that people that want to do the right thing need to know in order to have the intellectual and moral skills to make the right decision. Two thumbs up for Brad and team for providing a one-of-a-kind book on ethics.

I deal with ethical dilemmas on weekly basis. Brad Agle and Aaron Miller have put together an excellent resource that will serve me for years to come. It is full of real world examples with valuable insight on how to handle different types of ethical dilemmas. This is a must read for any leader or manager. On a separate note, the structural quality of the book is exceptional. It will handle many plane rides and evening refresher study.

Great book if you're going toe-to-toe with corruption and want ...
Great book if you're going toe-to-toe with corruption and need to articulate your ethical concerns! Also a good touchstone if you are in the public eye and want to keep your nose clean. (I just wish the book cost a bit less...currently sells for $29.95, albeit high-quality paper/binding.)
