Best action/magic series to date
I truly this this series is the best to date! The characters, setting, and plot gets better and better as the story dives deeper into the this war arc it’s currently on. This book is the training/prelude to war arc, and it sets us up beautifully for what to expect going forward. Arthur Leywin is well written character and has an astounding set of co-stars (for lack of a better word) with him. I always enjoy the different points of view that give better context on what’s happening through the story and hope to continue to see a deep dive into the minds of each main and side character!

Exceptional Work
Excellent. I am a firm believer in art being a representative of the Artist's mentality & Sense of Life. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to see the character's in a novel grow & develop alongside an artist ability. I can see that plainly in this novel. I would contend that a partner in any relationship is a personification of the other individuals sense of life. I would like to see the emotional connection between the main character, and his love interest develop over the course of the war.I, personally, enjoy seeing camaraderie, depth, and compatibility shown not necessarily in sex scenes ( the royal dwarf snafu was a nice touch), but shown in combat. The relationship between Will & Elizabeth in the first 'Pirates of the Caribbean' is a good example. And, the congruent 'Sense of Life' concept can even apply to individuals on apposing sides of a war [ (Artemisia & Themistocles) 300: Rise of an Empire].A humble suggestion, I felt the CHARACTER NAME POV rather crude and a distraction from the story. In my own opinion, reserving first person POV for the main character & third for all others is a better alternative. The Author James Paterson does this quite well in his children's series 'Maximum Ride'.In closing, I don't believe in 'Happy Endings'. I borderline detest them. I understand I am now imposing on this work, please dismiss this comment if it is not constructive, but I feel strongly that those who no longer "Do" should "Teach." Take this with a grain of salt.As a whole, well done. I look forward to the next entry.

Fast and fun
The first of these books began so oddly I thought I had to read a bit more to see where it was going. Now I can't read fast enough. They are so much fun to read. It's been some time since I have enjoyed a series this much

Can't get enough
Took a little longer to read but ready for the next. My heart is broken though, I stopped reading the manhwa right before this point.

A Dream, A War, And A Home To Return To
This series has stuck with me through many times of my life. I started with the manga and went to the books and finally I find myself here, but a few books away from the end. These few weeks that I've spend rereading the series to this point have brought me back to childhood; back to the reason that I fell in love with reading, especially fantasy books like these. I think the best part about reading is that In a way we get to live a life that we ourselves cannot. Living vicariously through the characters we are presented. This, in turn, teaches us life lessons that we cannot learn anywhere else and forges bonds that go beyond our material world, connecting us to characters that exist beyond reality in our own imagination. While some may look down on the approach of fictional literature, I very much appreciate the personal connection made by these books, as I was raised on them. TBATE has been a monumental series for me as the characters and works snuck their way into my heart. The sheer depth of the characters and their relationships, as well as their influence on the world around them is excellently and naturally constructed. I'd love to just give five stars silently, but as a review is required, thank you TurtleMe for this world you've created for these characters to live in.
