It is strong and has a nice adhesive. The tape that came with my Mr Cool was only ribbon w/o adhesive for some reason, so after wrapping my lines with that, I used this as a 2nd layer (where these is no line cover) to make sure all was good. I also used it for the top of my lineset where the sound deadening pads made the lines too thick to fit in the cover top. This tape is acting as the cover on the top and about 6-7 feet on the bottom leading to the compressor. I have some to spare, as well.
