I love the bowl itself. It has a nice design inside and out. There is a little smearing of black paint here and there, but I feel confident I can clean that up without issue and it doesn't bother me much, but might others. It is incredibly easy to play. As soon as you strike it, the bowl resonates very richly and for quite a long time. I wasn't expecting it to carry the sound as long as it does. It is also incredibly easy to play right off the bat. Beginner friendly for sure. Plays well on the Body as well. The striker is nice, it is my favorite one yet. I will likely save that for when I'm better at playing because I like it the most and want to save it. The cushion needs to go. I'm actually so disappointed in the extremely low quality of it. It is made of very poor quality, thin Styrofoam and wrapped in super junky ribbon. This will likely go in a land fill for most people and needs to be stopped. Either send people the better cushions that are almost always sold with these small, machine made bowls, or don't send one at all.

I spent a couple of late, late nights compulsively reading reviews and watching videos for a suitable singing bowl for my wife's upcoming birthday, while she's away to visit her family. I love the vids of this one, the good sound, and that multiple buyers said it's not difficult to make it sing (which I know will be verrry important for my wife, as a long singing tone for meditation is the primary reason she wants one), it's not super-expensive, and it seems a bit bigger than just about anything in this price range. The big 'if' came from fakespot analysis showing that there are some BS reviews on this bowl (as of today, 9/21/2022 it has a 'C' grade on fakespot). So I was nervous, because I needed to get a good bowl and make sure that it actually sings well, but time is getting shorter. A couple of reviews also mentioned cosmetic issues, so, I was a little nervous, but hopeful. The bowl was delivered a half-hour ago. I opened it up and the first thing I noticed was the striker actually look pretty cool. It's packed in a foam cutout at the top of the box. Removed the next packing layer and the bowl itself was wrapped in plastic. Un wrapping it my reaction was basically, "What the-- how does this look so nice?!" Yeah I can see the human touch in the paint, in a couple of very tiny parts on the bottom, but that human touch doesn't detract from how great this looks, at all. Those pictures people posted that look so good are def not shopped. That's how the bowl looks. It shockingly great looking. And it's not tiny. Feels very solid, and the tone when struck is (happily) more mellow than I expected. So the big test: does it sing? I've never tried resonating a bowl before (just crystal wine glasses) but I got it going immediately. Holy cow, it's good. And the sound does undulate audibly (if you've watched some of the vids you know what I mean), which is fantastic. I'm quite pleased with the sound. Overall, I'm 100% happy to be gifting this to my wife. I was prepared in case I needed to return the item and instead go shopping at a local incense-stuffed "esoteric" store to find one for at least twice the price, but I'm glad that's not at all necessary. This is a good product. Damn good, actually, and the price is excellent.

It looks and sounds just as all the other pictures and videos show - its beautiful, with deep and full-bodied sound. I looked at other bowls and there wasn't anything 'wrong' with them (one had a lovely sound, was a tad smaller perhaps, half the price), THIS ONE has a lower, deeper sound and it's perfect, it's just what I was looking for! Yes, it's relaxing ,calming, very easy to play, 'make sing'. The quality, appearance and function make it worth every penny! I bought it as a New years gift for myself, and it is most certainly giftable! It was boxed/packaged in a foam-formed cushion. Wonderful buying experience all the way around. Thank you!

I received the bowl today. Absolutely stunning and a beautiful size. This is clearly NOT USED. The sound is good too. I had to send 2 previous ones by other sellers because they sent me "used" ones that I didn't order. They were both dirty and scratched. I never buy anything used on Amazon. Especially any type of spiritual tools. The reason for 4 stars is because the blue round holder feels and looks cheap but I wasn't going to send it back. Thank you. Very satisfied.

Perfect. Sounds great and calming

It was so hard for me to find Tibetan sound bowl that was bigger than 4 inches but not a huge one. I was so happy to find this, but was nervous about what I would receive. This bowl is BEAUTIFUL! Well made, sturdy, durable and sounds great. It’s perfect!
