I assume that maybe about 105-120 lbs would be a k4, but it’s also depends on how tall the child is . The K2 is a little big. Pants sweep the floor but are fine when the waist is rolled up. Waist band is okay for his size, but would be too loose for active use without tying the strings. The kimono is great, sleeves are a little long so I rolled those as well. I think K1 would have been a better choice for his size but we're going to make this work. The material is very thick and seems to be high quality. The stitching isn't perfect, but it still looks good if you don't study it too closely. Well made and will last longer than he'll fit in it if we keep up with the sport. Highly recommend for the price! I'm laundering now so I'll modify the review if there is noteworthy shrinking or discoloration after the wash.
