NRSV Apocrypha Text Edition Red Hardcover NR520:A

Couldn't yet give a higher rating as I'm still trying to study and absorb. It's been very helpful in understanding some additional things regarding my studies of the 70-year captivity of the Jews by the Babylonians and Persians (and Medes).

This is only the old testament apocrypha, and doesnt contain the book of enoch or the book of giants. Other than that, a great product.

Just specifying that this copy doesn't include the books Enoch, Jubliees and Jasher as this was the main reason I purchased the book. Not discrediting this book at all though, it's a great version and at a travel friendly enough size for me.

This book is reasonably well-made. The pages are thick and opaque, the cover is sturdy, and and the text is clean and crisp. The binding, however, is glued rather than sewn, but that is to be expected with an inexpensive book.The text is not Anglicized, that is, it does not use British English. Instead, it uses American English, which is a big plus if you happen to be an American.All in all, this book is a good deal for the price, especially if purchased at a discount from a private vendor who is selling it through Amazon.

Like this book. It is exactly what i was looking for. This was a used book and it was in new condition like all of the books from them are.

Arrived on time and in excellent condition. The only drawback is the print is small.

Im learning so much from the apocrypha books, it never should have been removed from the original bible.

This is an excellent publication by Cambridge University Press and a very interesting read for somebody like myself who has never seen one before as my school by-passed it ! It's an American version which doesn't matter. I have come across very little American spelling and it was the only one I could find as a stand alone version as I didn't want to buy another bible to be able to read it. It's a nicely bound book and has a very helpful preface.

Good quality book, well bound, with clear readable text

I have actually read much of this : very interesting, and it satisfied my curiosity. Well produced, reasonable price.

It helps to fill in the missing links between books. Ideal if you are questioning the why's, how's and when's of the old testament.
