For the last twenty years we used cow dung directly or indirectly in the form of home made "Jeevamrutham Liquid" for plants. First time due to unavailability of the cows in nearby localities we decided to switch to solid powdered form of cow-dung. It's a good plant food and plant base. It's easy to use as it's fine textured and powdered. Costwise it's OK. We mainly use the cow-dung to increase good bacteria growth in the soil and also to increase acidic levels for deep and easy root penetration. This powdered cow-dung is SmellFree but it's efficacy is 75-80 percent when compared to normal cow-dung paste. We bought two five KG packets.

The texture is good.. small lumps of soil which is common, you have to crush them before giving it to your plant. Sometimes the soil might be extremely moist for which you need to put it under the sun. Very good quality soil and very nicely packed. No smell as it mentions that there is no smell but it does stain you hands unless you brush them of wash them which proves the ingredients to be true. Recommended.
