This scale only measures in 0.5 lbs increments (clearly labeled on the actual box). These 8 oz are far different than the 0.2 oz increments claimed. They probably mistook 0.2 kg (as indicated on the box). This scale is only suitable for coarse measurements. Also, the display is hard to read from directly above, such as when placed on the floor. It is meant to be a table top scale that you look at from the side. If you're fine keeping the scale on a table and 0.5 lbs precision is all you need, then this is a nice sturdy scale. When it comes to the fulfillment: the scale we received was not new.
