I've always had a lot of trouble using planners that are already dated. I bought this to use as a planner for school since I would have the freedom to write whatever I wanted on the blank pages. I needed something cheap just in case the blank pages didn't work for me in the long run, but I did not expect this amount of quality from a journal that's only $11. The paper quality is amazing. It's thick and so smooth to the touch. My pens glide on it easily, and it actually makes me look forward to writing on it to plan my week. The hardcover also feels great and durable, and I have no worries about damage when I bring it outside. I also love how it comes with the strap that keeps the book closed. There's also many cute colors to choose from! I would definitely purchase this again. The only downside is that there's some ghosting on the back of the pages when I use markers or juicy pens, but it's really nothing to complain about as I can barely notice it.

This is my second dotted one in Blush. I love this journal and size is perfect to me. I get pastel post it page flags and it all looks great! Very good quality

I accidently ordered the medium size and that's my only complaint, that it is too small, but obviously that's on me!! I was to the bookstore the other day and looked at the journals made by "moleskin". They were nearly identical, but cost three times as much. The bookstore's "knock off" brand was twice as much as this item, and there was nothing better about it. This has a nice solid, beautifully colored cover, with an elastic band to hold it closed. Inside there is a ribbon to mark your place and a paper pocket at the back to hold loose items. The only thing that might make it nicer would be to have a band where you could slip your pen, but otherwise, I don't know what else you would need. The paper is heavy and well marked. I chose the dotted paper instead of lined. Given I purchased the orange/marigold book the dots are a little hard to see because they are also orange, but now I know and will purchase the lined pages next time--unless I choose a darker color. I actually want to just go and purchase a stack of these right now because they are so nice and so reasonably priced.

Overall a great notebook. Ghosts with most pens but that's to be expected with even notebooks 3x the price. I've ordered three of these and one came damaged with the corner bent because Amazon shipped it in an unpadded envelope.

I always love the blank journals from here, so i tried out a dotted journal and it’s so good! I got it in a pretty purple color. Nice quality and material! I love writing in these for school or just journaling in general. Also there is a back pocket for things like personal notes or maybe even stickey tabs!

Update August 2026: I'm now on my 4th Paperage Journal! Such great books. I finally figured out what the stickers are for - to put a title on the front cover and binding! I'm updating my review with some pictures. I still don't know what the slit in the pocket is for. (FYI, The pen loop shown is a separate product and not included with the journal) Original review: I love everything about these notebooks! This purchase was my 3rd time. My first was yellow, then orange, and now coral. I'll keep going until I have a rainbow of notebooks. I use these notebooks to organize information and notes in my life. The bookmark ribbon is so useful. I love the elastic to keep the journal closed, and how it lays flat when open. The pocket in the back is crazy useful. I keep some star stickers in there and at times when I don't want to carry much, I can put a card or some cash in there. I can stuff a receipt or a business card on the go. I also love the spot at the very front to put your contact information. The only thing I don't get is the mysterious slit on the pocket cover, what's that for? Someday I'll find out, maybe by the time I get my next one in red!!

I love this notebook so much, I turned it into my junk and scrapbooking journal. The color is beautiful and the paper quality is really good. I’ve used markers, crayons, Sharpies, and pens with no bleed through. The size is perfect for daily journaling and especially great for beginner junk journalers. One tip if you plan to junk journal, glue every other page together because it will get bulky fast and can strain the spine. The elastic closure is also really good and hasn’t stretched out over time. I will definitely be buying another once I finish this one.

Great product really fit my needs the layout of the pages and has really nice binding.

Me gustó mucho, llegó en buen estado y sirve muy bien para hacer journaling, los plumones no se pasan, solo los permanentes dejan una marca atrás de la hoja.

Really love this journal! Despite the price, it feels really high quality. The dotted pages don’t feel thin at all, and the pens I’ve used haven’t bled through (faber castell pitt pens & zebra mildliners). Love the envelope in the back too :)
