I guess I bought this because I had another Chatsworth rack that was built very well. The upright extrusion has been changed a little and is thinner than my other older rack.Just don't over load it and you should be fine

I have Chatsworth rack products in virtually every server room I run. The aluminium is strong and easy to work with. Each rack unit is well marked which makes it easy to plan and place components appropriately. The screw holes are left a little small so the self tapping screws get a good bite. This does mean you can't be ham-fisted and just screw them in without some caution or you'll create new/wrong threads. If you need to install and remove stuff constantly, a square hole rack with nuts is probably a better choice.

Chatsworth is always a quality product. Easy to setup, like the included grounding mounting options. Accessories are hard to find, wish more were available online.

Bought for work because IT department request these racks!

I bought the 7' rack for my home office. It's a high quality piece of equipment! I have several pieces of equipment plus ethernet cables running from other parts of the house. I needed a rack that got my equipment off my desk -- and off the floor. It took me about 10 minutes to put together myself and I used a wrench to tighten the bolts. The instructions recommend bolting it to the floor but it's sturdy freestanding.
