I was looking for a wall clock for my bedroom pretty long time. I wanted it to be rather modern, going well with any color of the walls. And suddenly it showed up. I could not resist its looks, with a clear convex surface, silver flat dial face and quiet movement. When I took it out of the box (by the way: very good packaging, all corners protected, a screw for hanging included and a battery as well) I was amazed. After looking and looking at it for quite some time I put it on a chair, just for a second. All of a sudden my dog (mini schnauzer) jumped on the chair (read: on the clock). I could hear his claws scratching the glass. Actually this is not a glass, rather plastic or acrylic surface. I thought: "This is the end of my excitement". But there were no scratches. Can you imagine? To keep it short: the clock hangs on my lavender wall (I can see the color of it through the clock) and works without any sound. I love it. After all this I took my dog to the groomer. PS: If I can recommend anything I can say only one thing more: It is better to wait till the clock costs $33 (because it is that cheap from time to time). UPDATE 10-20-2011: When the battery runs out after a year or so, just replace it and you will enjoy the quiet movement of the clock again. Mine was gone after 14 months.

Perfect size for bathroom and classy looking

The Seiko Wall Clock Quiet Sweep Second Hand Clock Silver-Tone Metallic Case is a beautiful quality clock. It is lightweight so it will not fall off the wall as other clocks. It is the perfect size and the materials and color are of excellent quality and looks stunning in my bathroom. It is also very quiet - HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT - COMES WITH A BATTERY!

I really love the look of the clock. Better yet I love the sound.Because it doesn't exist. It's silent and that's what I look for in clocks these days. The tick-tick-tick is enough to have me leave the room in a hurry. The only thing is I put this on my bathroom wall in the basement. There is a small window across from it and no matter what time of day it's hard to read the clock because of the reflection of the light. I thought about moving it, but honestly I think its going to reflect anywhere I put it... But it still looks amazing.

I ordered several clocks in chrome and silver to place in my newly remodeled master bath and this one went impressively well for that final touch. It’s classy and sleek also quiet. Simply beautiful. Although, I must say, the Bolivia clock was also a favorite but ultimately I chose the Seiko due to the size and flow of the room. Timeless beauty

I really like the looks. It is also a good size. The decorative face can make it a little hard to find the hands, but once you get used to it, it is well worth it for how attractive it is. I had a smaller Seiko, they don't offer any more, with a similar look and the quiet mechanism. That is why I sought out this one. Nice that it is bigger than the old one.

This is a lovely wall clock we only bought it because the other one we had fell off the wall and the glass smashed but the clock still works
