Bought it mostly for slicing potatoes, my husband gets worried about me taking off a finger using a knife. I did accidently slice myself using this, but it was my fault, blades are super sharp, and work very well. Has a container to keep extra blades in, and it isnt overly large so doesnt take up a lot of cabinet space.
