I have a condition called lipedema that affects both my legs and my arms, making them larger than normal and a bit oddly shaped. (Lipedema is often overlooked by doctors, so, if you have large legs that do not seem to be helped by diet or exercise, you may want to check it look it up and then talk to your doctor.) On top of that, I am 5' tall with slightly shorter than average legs and arms, even for my height. (I have a 25" inseam.) I wear a 34DD/DDD. My waist is 31", high hip is 41, hip including my butt is 52", and my legs are big. I typically wear a size 14 or 16 bottom and a medium or large top depending on the arms and chest. It is like you took a slightly chubby, almost hourglassed shaped woman who was 5'11" and smashed her down 11" and shortened her limbs. I hate my body and I hate buying clothes.However, my husband and I have a family wedding coming up and he is wearing a tux. I needed something that made me not want to cry or hide, and something that was dressy enough not to look out of place. I came across this dress and took a chance. I was going to get an XXL, but, after reading the reviews, I went with the XL. It fits wonderfully. If my legs and hips were a little smaller, I could have gotten a large with the amount of stretch in the material. If I do not look at my legs, I love it. My husband and daughter think it looks great on me. I would normally wear either a higher or lower neckline than what it has, but I really cannot complain.The fabric is so much softer than I expected, and it drapes beautifully. I almost feel pretty in it. The lining, which is probably raised by the size of my legs, hits at just above my knee, while the outer, lace layer hits a couple of inches below the knee, which, for me, is just about mid calf. Because of the difference between my bust, waist, and hips, the waist does not lay as I would expect it to on someone else, but it is not bad at all.I shan't be posting any pictures, but I do hope that the measurements help someone.

I am an older bride, almost 64, and I ordered this in champagne in size M as a wedding dress. Because it is made from stretch lace and a knit lining, it fits well, without need of alterations. It has an invisible zipper in the back, which does not get caught in the lace (note that the horizontal lace band at the back waist is plain, unlike the front, but it still looks good). It is not handmade haute couture, but it is certainly well enough made, especially for that price, and you can't find a better bargain than this! It's a beautiful and flattering dress, and it also came very quickly. You will have absolutely no regrets buying this, unless you morally object to buying things made in China.

Looks more expensive than it is and the stretch place is super comfortable. Bought is black with nude lining and wore to an evening wedding. It's not too formal, but more elegant than a work or church dress. No pockets, though.

I wore this dress for my wedding and oh my gosh it photographed so well and is so beautiful. I’m 5’0 and the dress was just right and covered my knees. Wasn’t too short wasn’t too long. The white color is just like photos. I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress. I was 225lbs when I married and got a size 18 which fit perfectly even after a full belly. I didn’t look bloated in the dress. I’m 196 now and it fits a little bit loose! So if you’re 200lbs I’d recommend 16-18. Love the dress and would highly recommend it. Best thing to do for size is try a dress on at Ross to see what your size is. Because the dress is not very stretchy it’s more fitted but so soft.

I ordered size medium, I’m 5’2” 145 lbs and it was the right size. True to size. I got this as a nice dress to wear to church and for senior pictures. I don’t think it’s nice enough to wear for senior pictures though. The sleeves are much shorter than I thought they would be, the color wasn’t as bright as I thought it would be, and the fabric is pretty cheap. It doesn’t look the same as in the picture. Disappointed about all that, but it fits pretty nice.

The dress was comfortable. Fits nicely. I wore appropriate foundations/supporting undergarments as the dress does hug the curves down to the waist.I enjoy getting the compliments, but I am most happy when I can compliment myself... and I was pleased with the outcome!The color was as shown.I would purchase again and recommend.I ordered a XXL as I am a 40DDD and didn't want it too snuggy.
