It is NOT a parallel controller and will not work with Mach 3 *by H***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2018* Dont bother!! It is NOT what is advertised. Everything about this item says parallel port control and ability to use Mach 3. Neither are true!! It has an unbranded USB controller with ZERO parallel port option. The controller is a PIC microcontroller based board that nobody has a clue of a driver. With limitations you can use USB-CNC from Planet-CNC to control it, but nothing else. The home-brew CD-ROM they send you has an unlicensed copy of the USB-CNC software but no driver for the USB controller inside of it. Mine came in pieces. The emergency stop button was hanging out of the front and the X-axis connector was not even connected. btw - The emergency STOP button doesn't control anything at all----nothing! Now the vendor wants me to "go wait some days" and they'll have "their manufacturer" find me a parallel unit. Yet they still dont correct the advertisement on Amazon.....Amazon is becoming more like a street hustle dealing with vendors like this....a E-flea market. The MACH 3 demo version on their CD ROM had a problem, but I downloaded the demo from the website, and the machine worked perfectly. There is a bit of a learning curve to the software, but after a few hours everything was fine.The mounting hardware for your (customer supplied) fixture was a little tight, but nothing we could not deal with. If you have the mechanical aptitude to need a CNC router, you will have NO PROBLEMS.
