Deadman Wonderland, Vol. 2 Kindle & comiXology

The book came in fine, not damaged or anything like that, but the entire book including the cover is misprinted so there's an extra white space at the top. That's fine on most pages but it's very noticable on the black cover as well as on its spine, which doesn't like up with other volumes. On some pages there's these weird bar code looking things in that extra white space. There's also random points in which you'll turn the page and there's 2 blank pages. There's nothing missing, and I know for a fact that it's not intended to be there, but there's 3 separate occasions in which this happens and it's downright bizarre. The whole thing is otherwise fine, nothing's missing, it isn't damaged, etc, but it's funky enough that I might try and replace it.

I wasn’t expecting it to get so good so fast, but it did.I was not expecting the development behind the deadmen, or there being others like Ganta. I’m not going to spoil it any more than that, though. I wasn’t expecting it, and honestly it’s a little horrifying. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the direction it went, seeing as how the whole place is set up, but I was. It was a bit more horrible and graphic than I thought it would be.We met some interesting characters this volume. I’m not sure if I’m going to like any of them, however. We’ll see how they develop, I suppose. We also got to know Yo a tiny bit more, and now I’m just unsure of him. He could go either way at this point.Ganta is a little whiny, and he’s very much a wimp. I don’t understand how he’s surviving through this whole thing. I want him to toughen up, and I guess I can only hope it’ll actually happen.Shiro, on the other hand, is my absolute favorite. How she just sneaks around the vents in the facility, and eats whatever she wants, and somehow no one seems to notice. She’s upbeat and fun, and adorable, and obviously hiding some very serious things behind it all. She’s amazing. I think I would stick around for this series simply for her. But also, that ending. She’s hiding some things. I cannot wait to find out what.I’m immensely intrigued by this series. We got some insight into how the whole place works, we saw some creepy things. I am intrigued and excited by it all. This is the second book in the Deadman Wonderland. I absolutely loved it! These books are so strange and just so intriguing.Ganta is recovering from the ordeals of book 1. When he finds out the Red Man is kept in Ward G, he begs Shiro to take him there. While in the mysterious Ward G Ganta finds out the true reason this place is called Deadman Wonderland. As a results of an impromtu battle in Ward G, Ganta finds himself fighting in the Carnival of Corpses.In this book Ganta starts to unravel the secrets of Deadman Wonderland, including what/who is really kept in Ward G. We also learn more about Shiro and get to see her truly kick butt in some scenes.I really loved all the interesting revelations in this story. There is a lot of dark humor in here as well which I really enjoyed. There is also a ton of action, which was well done and fun to read about.These mangas are very well drawn as well. My only complaint is that this manga suffers from giant-boob syndrome (all the women in here have absolutely ginormous breasts that are completely improbable).Overall an incredibly well done horror-action-dystopian themed manga. I really loved it and can’t wait to read the next one in the series. This is a very gory and somewhat disturbing manga, that has some fascinating characters and a really interesting setting. I would recommend to those who like action-packed manga with a horror/dystopian theme to it.

This book was much better than the first, although still with flaws. The first book seemed to set up a setting that the author did not dig into, while the second did everything in its power to throw that setting away, move the plot to G-ward, and press the reset button with the same characters. Why did crow have such a desire to fight when losing costs a body part and they were already willing to postpone it. Why would he then go easy on woodpecker leaving an obvious opening. Why is it that security seems really uptight except when a main character needs to get around. It feels like a story with many many plot holes, that hopes you look over that fact for the art and gore. As with the last book, hopefully they flesh out some of these ideas further and they give a little background to any of the characters other than the hinted relationship between Ganta and the girl

I bought this used and it came in AMAZING condition, akame ga kill is buy far one of my all time favorites and the manga is absolutely AMAZING 10000% recommend giving it a read!

The second volume managed a feat I didn't think possible. It not only created a greater story and character depth, but it also blew away volume 1 in every possible aspect. Questions are answered, greater questions are asked and characters find themselves in situations that force growth and give the reader far greater understanding of their motivations and personalities.This is an impressive manga. I've never seen the anime and have no plans to watch it either. So, I have no idea how this stacks up in comparison. Sorry, but I'm a fan of the written word and always will be.I'm not big on spending full price on graphic novels and manga because I find the price high for the amount of story one receives in return. Despite this, I'll be purchasing the subsequent volumes of Deadman Wonderland. I'm hoping they're worth it. All signs indicate they will be.

Arrived 9 hours earlier than it was supposed to which was great. Perfect condition and the book has amazing graphics Definitely recommended.

Having been attacked by the `Red Man' at the end of the previous volume, Ganta hears of the mysterious Ward G that isn't on any map of Deadman Wonderland. Thinking the `Red Man' could be there Ganta, Shiro and Yo search for the Ward G only to be chased by a security robot and encounter another person with mysterious powers. Eventually Ganta discovers the true purpose of Deadman Wonderland and his own place within it.This second volume of `Deadman Wonderland' continues this great series and begins to get to the meat of the series with the revelation about the true purpose of the prison. The volume also sees the introduction of a number of new characters including Senji `Crow' Kiyomasa who, along with Shiro, is a favourite character of mine from the series. The artwork continues to be very good with some very nice gory scenes and the plot also remains very interesting.'Deadman Wonderland' is easily one of my favourite manga series and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their manga quite dark.

Just keeps getting better and better the more I read, its so twisted and dark! Really cant recommend this anime enough, kind of reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul (where the main character has to overcome a weakness to be useful to his/her peers). Bloody great read!

Arrived swiftly

Continuing the crushing story started in the first volume, this takes it several steps further, bringing a darker more urgent tone to the world of Deadman Wonderland. Well worth every second of reading.
