Product Specs: One-part acetoxy silicone rubber sealant Approved as a food grade silicone - NSF/ANSI Standard 51, USDA approved Will not crack or become brittle with age Application temperature -35 to 140° F Ex. The BOD or Born On Date is stamped on the bottom of the tube. The BOD is not the expiration date. The product should be used within 2 years of the BOD.

I needed a food safe glue to cover the crack. This Food Contact Safe sealant worked perfectly. The container holds 3 gallons of water. The glue has held up well and the container is functioning as it should again. The cost of this glue is worth it, considering it saved me money not having to purchase a second container. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Adding the sealant was quick and didn't require a rocket science degree. It is one application and no mixing. Yes, it has a little smell, but it dissipated quickly and you cannot smell it after a few minutes.
