This BambinOz fits great on our dining room chairs, folding chairs and into the restaurant highchairs. We enjoyed using this on our Christmas visit to our families. It let him be up higher but left us able to eat. For reference: Our child is about 7.5 months, probably 16-17lbs, and sits well independently. This travel seat was easy to wash and after a short cool tumble in the dryer I simply laid it out to finish drying. It was easy to figure out how to use and adjust the buckles. I like that this has shoulder straps as it helps to keep him in and keeps him from bending over to far when he is reaching.
