Brand 1265013 Color Duct Tape, Single Roll, Black

It's duct tape. It is exactly what one expects. The important thing about this is that it is black. We use it to repair and reinforce the black binders we use for drama competitions. This is nice and sticky, as expected. We tried electrical tape, because it has a more smooth appearance than duct tape, but it is not strong enough. This stuff works great!

Because of previous experience with Duck tape, I felt this had to be the brand to buy in using the white color,; new to me. Strong, great color match and easy to use. The purchase was handled correctly from ordering, shipping and receiving. Thank you.

My neighbor is a good dude, but man is he lazy. He has one of those trees that produce those bitter little green apples; the kind with all the sapsucker holes in the trunk. Well, it drops those little apples all over his yard and he doesn’t rake them up. Once the weather starts to warm up, all those apples start giving off that bitter odor and the wind blows it all over the neighborhood. After getting formal complaints, his home pelted with half rotted apples and being featured in a local news story where he refused to answer the door, he took action. He started all kinds of rumors about how those little apples cause hair to grow again, reduce foot odor and help people stop smoking, among other ludicrous claims. Now our once quiet dead end street has become a freeway! My street address is very similar to his and people were constantly knocking on my door asking “Is the miracle tree in the back yard? I don’t see it…”, despite my yard having only one willow tree. In their excitement, the apple seekers kept getting the address wrong. Using this fine duct tape, I was able to create the words “APPLES ARE THREE DOORS DOWN” along with an arrow on the vinyl siding of my home. If applied firmly, the tape adheres very well. Since the same problem happened at night and the black tapes appearance made it hard to see, I wrote the same message across the living room picture window. So, the black tape gives off a great silhouette against the light in my living room. It has been weeks since any wayward apple seeker has graced my porch. Since I had so much left over after the signage was completed, I used the black duct tape to hold boxes together, replace the grip tape on my machete and repair my leather jacket. The texture blends in well with the rest of the jacket. It looks great too! You won’t be disappointed in what this great tape has to offer!!

All in all, this black duct tape from Duck Brand works well for my DIY projects around the house. I used it to fix a torn backpack and it held up nicely during outdoor trips. The tape is easy to tear by hand and sticks firmly without being too sticky to remove later. I appreciate that it’s not too bulky, making it simple to pack in a toolbox or carry on the go. Plus, the color is solid—perfect for blending in with dark surfaces. Definitely a handy thing to keep around for quick repairs or craft ideas

Duct Tape always makes a quality product. Good value for the money. The delivery was incredibly disappointing. Could always count on Amazon. I’m having a very hard time saying that the longer I am a long time customer. This delivery was a big disappointment.

Works great! Even held a side mirror replacement on our vehicle (had also been super glued on). Thought for sure the tape would come off since we live where it rains A LOT, but almost a year later, and it is still holding! And, yes, Duck tape is good for almost anything that needs fixing.

This brand of duct tape is made very well. It doesn’t give you a hard time using it. Some duct tape is very difficult to peel. This was very good and it’s waterproof very strong as well. And it looks nice and bright and white.

I bought this expecting, at best, tape. And somehow it really committed to that role. It sticks. Like… aggressively sticks. To boxes, to random projects, to things I didn’t even mean to tape. At one point I’m pretty sure it stuck to my life choices. So if your goal is “attach thing to other thing and never speak of it again,” this will absolutely deliver. The black color is also doing a lot of heavy lifting. Everything instantly looks more intentional. Broken item? No, that’s now a “temporary reinforced solution.” Messy cable situation? Suddenly it’s sleek. Professional, even. We love a glow-up. It tears clean, it holds up, and it hasn’t betrayed me yet, which is more than I can say for some other products in my life. Would I buy it again? Yes. Do I now feel weirdly loyal to duct tape? Also yes.

I use duct tape all the time for taping down patch cords, quick repairs, and marking my equipment at gigs. Duct tape is duct tape, but purple duct tape is better! 💜

Costly

It's duck tape so I thought it would be like swedish silvertejp. But this is not at all like that. It's glue is pretty weak. It barely sticks to my hand. Maybe it's okay to use somehow and maybe it's like only for a cardboard surface? But I mean it's not that sticky. Pretty lame.

Tape works it should! Cloth based white tape. Good adhesion, cloth based, good price.
